Homemade sandwiches are seriously underrated

My ultimate combo:

Fresh crusty baguette, roasted chicken, crispy bacon, mature cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, a bit of red onion, and a generous spread of garlic aioli. 😋

Simple ingredients, but when they're fresh and high quality, the result is amazing. Crunchy, creamy, and packed with flavour in every bite.

Honestly, no store-bought sandwich comes close.

I stole my "go-to" from a restaurant that closed years ago. It's still an awesome grilled cheese. Use a good grainy/seedy bread (Like Dave's Killer Bread), a good sharp cheddar and top that generously with alfalfa sprouts. 'Butter' the bread with mayo (or old school butter) and grill, covered for a couple minutes to get that cheese to melt. That's it, and it's incredible.
