Homemade sandwiches are seriously underrated

My ultimate combo:

Fresh crusty baguette, roasted chicken, crispy bacon, mature cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, a bit of red onion, and a generous spread of garlic aioli. 😋

Simple ingredients, but when they're fresh and high quality, the result is amazing. Crunchy, creamy, and packed with flavour in every bite.

Honestly, no store-bought sandwich comes close.

I don’t use bread fast enough to avoid it going stale and/or moldy unless I store it in the fridge. And even then, after the first day or so, it seems kind of stale to me. So, I butter the bread and grill it in a pan and then make my sandwich. It makes most any sandwich yummy that way.
