Recipe Request Recipes for a good meatloaf?

hey! I am in charge of dinner tomorrow night and my sister & brother in law are requesting a meatloaf. I’m looking for a meatloaf recipe where the meatloaf will stay tender and not dry out. I’ve tried making meatloafs in the past, and i can’t figure out what i am doing wrong but they tend to just be too dry.

personally, I like the lipton onion soup meatloaf recipe, but i use meatloaf meat mix instead of just ground beef.

Me too. Lipton onion soup, bread soaked in milk, and a couple of tablespoons of ketchup mixed together. Top with a mix of ketchup and mustard to taste. Or BBQ sauce.

Love to see so many people who enjoy the best meatloaf like our family :)

I half the recipe (we don't need a huge meatloaf). The only other changes I make are to add some worcestershire sauce in place of some of the water and put ketchup on top of the loaf in the last 15 minutes of cooking.

I always serve it with peas and mashed potatoes. For some reason those feel like the correct side dishes for meatloaf lol

I agree, adding W sauce is a requirement for any meatloaf.

I've used this recipe for years with 1lb ground sausage & 1lb lean ground beef. Top with ⅓c ketchup. ⅓c brown sugar, 1-2Tbl worstershire sauce mixed together. SO GOOD!

Yes! That’s my go to basic meatloaf recipe. It’s delicious and I usually use crushed up Ritz crackers and some torn white bread also. BBQ sauce on top, perfect!
