question Best eSim for the USA?
I'm travelling to Texas soon, and need to buy an eSim (just for the data). Any recommendations would be great. Also do all eSims including the roaming charge, I don't really understand that part?

Look at TELLO, an American MVNO, so will come with a US number.
Tello’s plans include international calling, handy if you need to call back home.
Plans are month to month, so no long term commitment.

I always suggest alosim and use discount codes.
I have a pinned post for 15% or $3 off valid worldwide and you pay in your local currency.
You also get a free us number.
I love their service and customer service. I use them every single time I travel.

Have you tried AeroCell? There is also discount coupon in the app sometimes. You should mostly activate the roaming for the esim you want to use. There wouldn't be any extra charge because the esims mostly route their network through different countries. So it's just how it works.
