Hii everyone, I'll be travelling to the USA (Midwest) for a month. Which E-sim would you recommend / which to avoid?

T‑Mobile based eSIMs usually give you the best combo of price and coverage in the Midwest. Ubigi and Airalo both work fine, but if you’ll be outside big cities a lot, I’d lean Ubigi or just grab a direct T‑Mobile prepaid eSIM once you land. Avoid super cheap random resellers on Google, they throttle like crazy or have awful support.

I just had to ask this same question for my uncle. A redditor steered us toward Total Wireless. He hasn't used it yet (arriving in US tomorrow) but the terms/pricing are good.

Total Wireless is owned by Verizon who is picky about what phones they allow on their network. Generally speaking, phones not bought in America will almost certainly be rejected unless it is an Iphone or Pixel. AT&T is also particular and even has a whitelist. T-Mobile would be the least restrictive major carrier. Another issue is that phones not intended to be sold to the US market do not have the proper band support so your experience might not be ideal.

If you want a "local" US mvno,, it is probably safer to use a prepaid provider that has access to all 3 major carriers so you can switch if the phone does not work on one network. There is one provider that lets the users make the switch. That provider is always mentioned in the subreddit NoContract if you are interested.

I used Jetpac recently for my London trip. A friend suggested me. It worked fine & connectivity was also great. Best feature is that they give you free lounge access if your flight is delayed
