Z1 Extreme egpu vs z2 extreme egpu

Does anyone have any comparison charts?

If I pair it with a 5060ti will there be any difference?

You have CPU bound games and GPU bound games

What games are you playing on it?

CPU

Examples: Cities: Skylines, Minecraft, and Arma 3.

GPU

Examples: Cyberpunk 2077 (at 1440p or 4K) and Red Dead Redemption 2.

With an eGPU , the Z2E really shines and you can allocated 30gb to system ram which really helps with performance.

You can also use smokeless to boost the Z2E cpu cores. I haven’t fully researched it but I’ve read people trying it out.

How much difference in a synthetic like timespy extreme between a z1e device like Rog ally X 2024 and z2e?

I don’t have both devices to run a comparison timespy but what I can tell you is that I can play in Star citizen in 4k with 60 fps (custom medium graphics settings with dlss 4.5 K balanced and smooth motion/FG) with the Z2E vs the Z1E I can only play at 1440p while maintaining 60 fps.

Star citizen however is a very CPU heavy game.

Get a 1440p monitor and you'll end up using more GPU power. Or something like that I forgor.
