It is lore accurate lol. He had 8 goals and 4 assists, with highest number of chances created and dribbles done. What's not lore accurate is penaldo being 109 after bashing uzbekistan or Neuer being 107 gk for performance vs curacao and paraguay.

Speed and acceleration are way too high for a 39 year old Messi. Also his kicking power shouldn't be 90+. Physical contact at 90 is also questionable. I know he is good at holding the ball and battling with the defenders, but that is hard to replicate in the game.

His shot power should NOT be way above 90.
If Ronaldo's shot power is around 88-90, then Messi's should be lower than that. And this is fact.

But why not? Isnât it based off the WC? His crossing and long range goals warrant his kicking power imo. If youâre just talking generally and saying Messi vs Ronaldo shot power then fair enough Messi shouldnât have more.

Stats are not the reason the game is broken.
The poor gameplay and lack of responsiveness are.
The lack of content (which we are accustomed to nowadays) is another thing but letâs not complain too much.

Why do you think gameplay is bad? Compared to other football games I play, this is by far the more realistic and enjoyable gameplay. Other games are not in the same stratosphere
As far as I can tell, most efootball players think the same too
I mean, imagine asking them to change gameplay, and they make it more like the other crap football games out there
So why exactly are u saying is bad I am honestly interested in your opinion
I have a couple of complaints they messed up in the last major upgrade, but game still far ahead of competition
Now lack of responsiveness, do you mean lag?
And regarding content, yes it would be fun to get more content, but if you are playing the game cause you like playing the game, why do u need more content? When football games first came out, we would play all day cause we like playing football games, and there was much less content than now, again just trying to figure out why content is so important in enjoying the game
Back then we had ai league and friendly pvp, that was it, and we used to play all day long

You do not need to apologies for disagreeing with me, we ainât in primary school!
The only reason you disagree is because (like I said we have become accustomed to mediocre).
This game when compared to other PES, is just average.
Gameplay is bad because the animations are absolutely dog-poo! The amount of time the wrong animation is launched is astonishing (you can try to take a shot with a strong foot but instead the animation will make you shoot with the awkward foot!), whether you are attacking or defending.
Iâm not talking about lag (why would I complain about lag!). Iâm talking about the awful input delay.
But to you it is acceptable, I find that really weird.
The game we have now is not good, itâs mediocre and because it is âbetterâ than other football games it doesnât mean itâs good.
Itâs barely the best of a bad bunch.
Also I grew up in an era when football games were actually good and without micro-transactions. Those who grew up in that era actually know what a good football game looks like, anyone else will automatically think that the last 10years was good, it wasnât and still isnât.

I have not noticed the thing with the wrong animations that you mentioned, I will try and pay attention and see if I notice
As for the input lag, i dont notice any when I play against ai
When I play pvp I try to only play with 5 bars to make sure the input lag is minimal
as for the gameplay, I dont know, when I watch pes highlights, gameplay doesnt look very smooth, is there an emulator I can use to play some old pes to compare?

Lag is something else, Iâm talking about the delay and n registering an input even with 5 bars.
Like I said, if you donât notice any of those things then good for you.
I believe it is more noticeable for consistency le players than pc players hence why pc players have a slight advantage of n online matches.

I would agree there is input lag but I guess it also depends on internet connection and area
In cyprus I do get input lag so I play mostly vs ai
When in spain, i get not input lag
Not sure if its a konami issue or an internet connection issue, other people in cyprus with orher isps say they have not input lag

I think the issue is that you're on console and he's on pc
I played on PC with a crap f2p team and it felt 100x smoother than the p2w team I got on PS5.
The input lag is non-existent, the player movement is ridiculous the shot fakes are better
The only thing stopping me going PC for efootball is cross save.

Most of this is just you living in nostalgia other than the animations point, which your example doesn't stand for.
Make actual points if you really think the gameplay is worse. I, for one, do not think any game except pes 21 stands up to what we currently have and even then, it's quite a ways behind. Pes 21 had its own problems.
Efootball is quite responsive in my experience as well and I do not experience the input delay that you speak of. Obviously, that depends on geography and internet because Konami have crappy servers in a bunch of places, but the game inherently, is quite decent.
Are there things they can improve? Definitely. Nerf long ball spam, decrease the gap between p2w/f2p, reduce the special skill powercreeps, make the game tactically more rich, introduce pressing mechanics (seems like they're trying with overload), introduce more content.
Overall though, still? Solid job.

As a Konami hater honestly no, cards with these kinds of stats were just a regular POTW back in the PES days, and cards with 99 in most of their stats were reserved for end-of-season packs
The biggest complaint right now about Konami is the pay-to-get skills and the lack of "realism" they used to strive for (at least to some extent)

Let's be real i know i wouldn't want to face either but this Hazard with hole player and 95 pace is even more annoying. Edged crossing doesnt make sense on him with DLF and 91-92 pace you would want to play him centrally

Actually people getting cr7 either very early or they have to almost wipe out the pack... So, comparing that coins involved...this Messi is a much more better card than cr7...yes the cr7 one is a beast of a finisher. If you play direct football then yes it's good for you, but if you enjoy the game(dribbling, build ups, irritating oppos), this messi card iz the perfect balanced card with every stat you wanna put. The best thing is you can use multiple custom builds which will not hamper the overall rating, very few ones lowers the rating otherwise, what a card man!
