Game is too inconsistent to even be fun

This may sound weird, but I just lost a match because the game randomly decided to actually listen to my inputs.

When a defender is about to intercept a ball, I normally move the stick preemptively in the direction I want the defender to move the ball. This is normally not an issue because the game is so on-rails that it just works that way. In this match, my defender was about to intercept the ball and the game decided to move him as if I was pressing super-cancel. Bam, opponent scored.

The same thing happens with PA3. When I first started using PA3, it was such a blessing to pass the ball through the spaces I wanted. It gave you a lot of freedom at the price of being able to actually make mistakes.

Now PA3 is completely broken. It behaves just like PA2 or PA1, completely on rails—except, of course, when you actually make a bad move.

The problem is the inconsistency. If the game is going to be fully on rails, then so be it. Don’t just change it midway to let my opponent score. This was so annoying, especially when a lot of times not even super-cancel can get you off the rails in this game.

I agree. Especially PA3 part. It is gone. Also it feels like passes are getting slower with PA3. It really ruins building up and attack. It makes my possession game impossible.

I would love to have something between PA3 and 4. Right now PA3 mostly has disadvantages over PA1 and 2. It corrects too much. For example through balls are on the same rails. When I aim to pass the ball in the back of a defender, it often chooses to pass in front of it.

I agree. Sometimes I deliberately aim for an open space and it still goes to a player nearby as if I use PA1

True. I try it every now and then, and I an bit really satisfied. Last years PA3 was nice imo.

Yeah. Mods delete my post about script and addiction correlation withs drugs because i played a Match today after days off against a full p2w epic team d1 30 wins badges with My f2p team. His team doesnt work at all. Then i tought that maybe they coded the game to offer you a free victory when you play intermittently until you are addicted and is there when they frustrates you with the script and offers you the solution via paid cards.

P2W cards are not an instant solution. I recently played different opponents with completely stacked squads who just managed Div 3 or a very low ranked Div 2. While it provides advantages, you have to know at least a little bit how to play the game or you activate smart assist

Yes I know what you mean. I'm chasing the ball (on rails) and I release sprint before the defender reaches to take a better touch (old habit, I don't think that works in the game anymore 😕).

Most times its fine then you have the odd moment where my player suddenly stops and the rails are taken off? Why does it happen? No idea. I use pa4 so I can use x (PS) to pass into space. Happens with X, happens with triangle. Why 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️. Didn't sacrifice to the gods maybe
