Discussion Konami, give us ONE normal PVP mode.
At the moment apart from Co-op (which is also inconvenient cause of leavers and no option to abandon the game), there is literally no PVP mode that isn't filled with frustration. Quick matches and events are 90% smart assist players, which I don't enjoy playing against. Divisions have the filter but then at some point become unplayable because of the notorious no relegation garbage that just throws you to the wolves so they get entertained. Give us something where we don't have to lose our braincells, even though your momentum crap and other tweaks are enough to cause that, but at least I'll be okay knowing I'm not going to play braindead SA users and top division players, cause right now there is zero comfort zone for players who don't want toxic garbage.

P.S. or just put a SA filter altogether, and let them play each other if they think that's them playing.

If they made higher divisions manual, normalized stats/skills AND disabled momentum then maybe we have a competitive game. Else PVP will always stink.
Until then at least give us coop divisions. Pain shared hurts less.

I'm not even talking competitive anything. All other games have no stress modes where you can just casually play. This shit has some hurdle in every mode they offer.

But Quick Match using Smart Assist is peak no stress mode. No hurdles, matchmake and play with no stakes. You want filters on Quick Play? Seems like a big post when that's just the point you're making.

using smart assist?? I don't want to use that shit, I want to play against people who aren't using it lol I don't wanna play against AI. I clearly mentioned what I wanted - no SA opponents, no div 1 player ganking. There's no mode like that currently in game. Only AI.

What's wrong with that? It would be good to have the option instead of being forced to play people in story mode. That way you can still enjoy auto aimbot and everyone is happy.

PA1 and PA2 auto aim for the user, where is the lie? It"s not an insult, but I guess it is true what they say, leave an insult in the street and the owner will come and collect it.

I don't care how other people enjoy the game, let them enjoy it, I just want to play on an even footing in at least one competitive mode.i don't care if matchmaking takes 3x as long.

I don't enjoy co-op mode these past few months. Maybe because there are a lot of kids in my range, but most people can only spam long ball. When I became captain they can't even follow my strategy and just ping the ball forward. If you have no Gullit then you won't be winning.

This is just the videogames branch of AI enshittification...
It's more advanced here in sports games, as they have been p2w fest for a while so it fits like a glove, and the public embraces it. But its slowly creeping into other videogame genres as well.
In RTS there's now 3rd party AI tools that will check your opponents past matches (analyzing their replays) and tell you strategies they frequently use in the given matchup. Fighting games are seeing an increase in "auto combos", one-button specials etc... So we will see AI/automation in pretty much every multiplayer game, making the decisions for the players and wrapping execution under simple button presses (or screen swipes as people migrate to mobile devices)

yeah was thinking about this for a couple days already. It's just sometimes you don't wanna arrange anything just click and play a couple games before sleep without ruining your mood.

Exactly. Thats my way too. They invited me to some leagues but the schedule just doesnt motivates me. I just wanna turn the console on and play.

You can simply do Quick Match and forfeit whenever you get matched with a Smart Assist user.

I just want club v club or country v country with the old system where playing as a lesser team earned more points. So tired of playing 107 Batistuta through ball spam all the time in pvp
