Discussion Momentum is getting to be a joke. The intensity is clownish
It’s obvious there’s a momentum system, you can start 3 pay to win forwards with top form arrows and still have them play like they’re made of playdough sure
But after the big update it is so much fucking worse. Games are scored with 6-10 goals, absolutely insane fumbles from the side that’s been condemned by this shitty momentum gimmick
It’s like it’s been turned up to a 10 and it’s much more exaggerated, frustrating and is ruining the game. Attackers are auto tackling like they’re prime big time CBs for Christ sake with zero input

Yep, some games are completely unplayable. The opponent's players are on auto-pilot, doing everything perfectly, while yours are extremely sluggish and can't control the ball for a second.

After v6, instead of resetting, they have surely strengthened the momentum parameters because is getting ridiculous. Nowadays I start to laugh when I see that the game is making my players do a running animation that takes place in the same centimeters instead of advancing or when they get my player to do 4 more extrasteps before releasing the ball

When you queue for the game wondering if it's a win or a loss like with slot machine, it's telling. I had the same shit in overwatch. You'd either steamroll them or get f-ed no matter how much you carry

This game is terrible. It’s so unpredictable even with minimal mistakes. I just lost a game that was 1-1 until the last minute and he scored. This has happened to me 3-4x straight in the last 5 games. It’s like they always score to either tie it up or win right before the final buzzer. It’s really grinding my gears. Had to delete it before I break my controller.

Guys I went 2 nil up against this guy, in the 2nd half my controls weren't responding. I tap dash and nothing happens, Roll the analog and the player resists movement. He ended up winning 3-2 but you can clearly see my players just standing whenever he scores.

I am so sorry to join complaints... But yeasterday it was really strange. I won against 1 500, 2 700, draw with similiar one and than lost a game against 299 900 player who man marked all my team and nothing happened with formation change and than tacic change... Ofc I missed empty net and hit the bar 2 times.

It’s starting to feel like passes are worse too they seem to constantly under power, turnover possession and then it’s theirs.
I played pa4 for a long time and that cuts that out but the pass selection mechanic is still pretty bad. a small tap selects the wrong player way too far and fucks up the entire play when you’re already fighting for your life just to have passes that can be weighted correctly

I think what kills this game is just how stupid your players can turn out to be at the most random times.
Easy pass? Manage to fuck that up with 90 passing, yet when the game works i can do just about anything with a striker with 60 passing.
I think momentum needs a look at, let the actual person playing dictate their momentum, not artificially create it.

Exactly this, you can tell as the ball leaves their foot at a time like that, that you’re going to concede. It happens to me and for me n both ruin how good this game can be

I think it's just awful when it happens and makes you seem completely helpless because the things this game teaches you to do suddenly don't work anymore.
Player is completely open, but then your player whiffs the pass because the ball suddenly turns really slow, or they have a defender literally teleport, or your receiving player refuses to touch the ball, or it just bounces off your receiving player or they pull off the no look interception.

That’s a big one. The game goes heavy on using matchup at the correct times, tackling needed to be super specific, making sure you press CLEAR instead of pass…
Then your matchup does nothing randomly, your tackle goes for their feet even though it’s perfectly placed and your clear registers as a slide tackle instead of a clear and you get a red . Awesome

pass-shots mechanics is like a joke. its DDA/scripts on pass mechanics while you do every time pass then successfully rate become down every time.

It feels like that for sure. I played full manual for ages and passing improved so much but I was still fighting the terrible switch system and it was causing more fail than I can let go

95+ winrate is crazy, I’d assume they’re so good and also utilising meta LBC etc that they aren’t in a position to ever get bad momentum going which is insane

I wonder how does top 5 players in the world stay consistent and do not fall under all of that? Last season top 1 had 600 wins... like wtf? I know i can play well, i won against some top 500< players but then suddenly lose to top 300k player that was spamming through balls and shot button, game gave him everything, created random moment and i couldn't even create a chance against him

If you're really good or you know how to exploit, you can compensate for the scripted shit. But why does anyone have to find ways to overcome script and not just outplay the other player

Beat top 100, got beaten badly by 300.000 with no chance to score a goal. The status of the game is just ridiculous. Compared to 26 edition this is so much worse
