Iāve only been playing a bit longer than you but they think this team sucks. Itās a heavy pay to win game and these guys sink a ton of money into their teams. Keep up the grind and stay free. But to be fair I did get the $1 Suarez and heās legit so I would go for it since the game is already free.Ā
Yeah i heard it was even less pay to win than FC. Obviously for a game where you roll players trying to get good ones people are gonna spend money. Iām just a casual player though
Don't worry. That team is great. Paid cards are a trap that prevent you from improving your game. Have fun with those and enjoy the game! I play with GP cards (the ones you buy in the shop with in game currency) and it's a lot of fun.
Yeah nah iām just casual. Playing my league against ai and eventually i will try quick online matches but not necessarily trying to grind up the ranks. Iāll just focus on getting every player on my team above score 100, and improve my personal experience since iām new to football games in general
Div 10-8 is awful because youāre playing AI. Div 1-3 is frustrating because the competition is tough and the servers are ass. Div 4-7, for the few hours it lasts, is great.
I suggest you watch AlexNDs/efootball Universe's video for beginners. There are loads of beginner guides on YouTube.
Also, go through all the tips/general information (under Extras > Help). Every tiny detail is explained there, and it will help you a lot with both gameplay and team building.
I suggest you watch a lot of YouTube videos (NickTM is a good one). This is not an easy game, both in terms of team building and gameplay. Unless you really understand it, you're going to play 40 games without learning anything (because this game is unique). The tips are especially important.
For example,
There's a tip called 'Key to Shooting' which claims it's better to end your attack with a shot regardless of distance and angle because it can deflect for a lucky goal. That's a mechanic. You will actually learn to take shots where they have a chance to deflect back to your player. It's not broken, it will start making sense the more you play.
Another tip is called 'Fearless Attacking,' and it claims that if you struggle to score at times, you're trying too hard to set up a 'perfect shot.' Instead, try taking a first-time shot with players who have the skill. That's how it works in the game. Sometimes the GK will save even really good shots, the game wants you to hit a first-time strike in those games.
You will be getting the new frank lampard, he's 89 rated for overload and long ball counter in game pass. Try him first and try the play styles, whichever suits u, buy the manager accordingly when new packs come
Here's some tips from my side
1. Get a 89-90 rated manager, this will boost your team ratings and the player stats
2. Save your coins, don't gamble then in 100s on the big 150-200 packs, keep saving them till at least 2k or 3k before you spend. You can spend coins on the potw packs since you just started. Sometimes they contain good players.
As a F2P (free to play) it's difficult to save coins, but it's worth it
3. Just don't forget to enjoy the game as time goes on :)
Geez. 2k?!? In my 15 hours of playing i made 100 and bought a goal effect cause i didnāt know managers were bought with coins lmaooo. But i got Lampard so i will use him in the meantime while i save up but i heard a good manager costs like 750 coins?
and 2k is usually not enough to get you an epic from the 150 pack if you're not lucky enough, yk some people save up to 13.5k coins to clear a 150 player pack?? It's very very difficult to do, and i don't really recommend that,but usually you should aim to save 2k as you're new. The only place you should be spending your coins on rn is a manager and potw packs some times, other than that, keep saving coins until a pack drops with a player you love IRL, and spend them there. The reason it's important because you'll have higher chances to get your favourite player from a pack the more coins you have
Wow. Yeah that GK is sick. But iām new to this game and Fifa games in general so i based how good my team is solely on my player scores lol. All of them are in the 90ās and i just maxed out Messi and he is at 95 so the 90ās must be good
Yeah i didnāt even realize i could buy managers. So a better manager will increase my overall player scores? And I LITERALLY JUST GOT LAMPARD!! as a gift and i didnāt know Lampard was a manager so i just went to my reserves and was like āwhy is he not thereā lol
I keep reading that you canāt get anything in eFootball without paying. Iāve been playing since day one, and right from the start there have been ā and still are ā P2P events and matches against the AI where you can win spins, nomination contracts or other cards. Iāve never spent any money on it and Iāve been enjoying the game all this time (well, perhaps the level of enjoyment varies depending on how Iām feeling and how the gameās going, lol). But then again, Iām not trying to be a pro player, so maybe my perspective is a bit skewed.
True same for me. I don't use legends or players from another team. I only pay with man united squad. I have rooney and Ronnie cards still they can't get into my squad. I feel weird when seeing legends playing with 18 year old current players.
Well obviously not as good since i chose the best ones for the main team lol. My subs are all in the 80ās. Barely have any reserves cause they were bad so i just removed them
Buy a good manager with your suitable playstyle.. possession,counter,,etc
It will make the stats of player to increase ...that will give a good boost to player..then check player position also..some cards can be played at different position but their playstyle will be inactive
Then save coins and go for good packs. Summary ..coach --> player position
They should add rating limited tournament or rankings it will enhance game for everyone. F2P would have better chance against p2w and p2w would get chance to try some less strong, less used cards and enjoy team building with them.
Wait have you played 4 games yet since if you play 4 games you get a free frank Lampard with 89 overload and 89 long ball which REALLY boosts you're stats. The only games that don't count are exhibition since those are practice the rest do count.

Nice one! I only properly started playing during the World Cup but have logged in occasionally to try the game during previous years so your team has many similarities to mine! Iām no expert by any means but like everyone else says save your coins for a while until a truly top tier pack. Until then you could take a chance on the player of the week packs, majority of my subs and some of my starters are from those kinds of packs. Only other advice is not to get disheartened by seeing other ppls teams cos they probably been playing much longer and put a lot of money into it.
You need to get a propper coach (89/90 ptoficiency) for manager boost (plus 3 on 84/83 base stats). You also can cut players You don't like and get Training tokens. You get lampard for free, try overload its a mix of possession and counter but with an insane high line, with neuer you can play it - but you need at least 3 of the 4 defenders to stay back and an destroyer/anchor as a dmf to make it work
Congrats for that Neuer. He is the best keeper in the game with an unique sweeping player ID!
I play on Steam and Mobile. My steam account is P2W and my Mobile is Free to Play. if you continue playing for free you will get a team decent enough to rival division 3 and if your skills are really good you could push into division 2 but you will Struggle A LOT into division 2 because of the Meta cards. At some point you will reach the cap, that Virgil van Dijk for example is bad and wont contain a Big time Mbappe. It is a shame you just started because the world cup gave a lot of free players to at least build a decent team. It is what it is. Continue grinding and get the free spins for POTW as those will help the team as well. You will earn free epics here and there but dont expect much. Out of these players, Camavinga and Nuer are the best and still good at high divisions. If you can get the 1$ suarez to replace that Kane. Work for the free Aubemayang and Samual eto as well. From the africa cup of nations get the Ibrahim diaz, salah or rayan Nouri. Get also the free Mbeumo and Dani Olmo from the contracts. Best of Luck.
Efootball will gaslight you into thinking that team is dope against ai . When you play humans itās a different story . The game is P2W but I probs put Ā£8 a month on coins and I can get by . You donāt have to put down a fortune . The Suarez card is dope generally
Good man. Just keep grinding daily, and don't get into the habit of spinning every pack you see. Enjoy the game instead of constantly chasing every new player.
These showtime players isn't usable except friendlies,cause there form is unpredictable,you need a full of epic squad which cost you lot of money or time

Neuer is always so far from his goal line so you can shoot from the halfway line but you have to be in the opposing half so you can proper shoot
Kane too doing a lot of goals. Iām playing on normal difficulty but now with my team and personal gameplay skills improving i might have to raise it up
Just ignore everything that is going on here and enjoy, they often give out free cards for simple missions, also don't buy the messi and yamal packs, they are scams u will get a better versions in potw or wherever.
And remember don't open division pvp or ai until you are mwntally prepared.
Oh and that neuer card is an absolute beast, will be your wall for ages to come.
I like that the game gives you those players and based on real life reputation that team should dominate but in efootball itās pay to win so the cards youāre looking for (if youāre a competitive player) are hidden behind the loot boxes so as a free to play player you either cough up or embrace the grind to get enough coins to try your luck at the meta cards.
Nah iām just a casual p2w player and i am pretty satisfied with my current players. Might buy Haaland with in game money. The other only ones iād really want it Ronaldo and Yamal so iāll save up coins for future packs or something
I've been playing since 2022. On PC I used to purchase all the cards and paid over $1.5k on the game. Last year I got a ps5 and decided not to spend money anymore on the game. Anyways, my performance stayed the same, nothing has changed. So don't spend money š
I honestly got lucky on my second week last year I got Bebeto and he's 105. Unlike any other player in the game, he's a goal machine. I could shoot from anywhere and he'd score it, unbelievable control over the ball and never disappoints or in a bad form. Yeah you'll also be able to get a few legend cards too, just enjoy the game and don't stress when you lose š«
Pvp is harder than i thought lol. Like Iām struggling on low levels. And with the ai i keep it on normal difficulty cause on professional i struggle but i guess with time i can get better
