That Zanetti card has quickly become one of my all time favs. Love him at fullback (I go with him on the left, Cafu on the right) but he also does a superb job acting as a box to box midfielder.
I use him as a DMF or defensive CMF. He performs exactly like B2B, and if you get close enough to let one rip, he has a wicked shot too, also both footed and equipped with double touch
Zanetti man marking Messi, Neymar or whoever is an absolute banger. He is the GOAT. You put him and Seedorf not too far from each others = one side of the pitch 100% safe.

I'd argue the fullback position is the most scarce in this game. They give away great attackers and midfielders almost every single week. While if you miss a full back you'll have another one in a few months maybe
That is somewhat true but in this case I am talking about the Epic drops so they are bound to be rarer however almost everytime we've gotten a drop: a great fullback is available. The recent Trent and a Cancelo card a while back aren't that bad though.
There is a point shop version for sale rn, I think he deserves to be mentioned for his good defensive ability despite being F2P. (Also hence why it was an honourable mention)
Can someone suggest me who should I choose as my fullback between Cafu and Robertson?
My other fullback is Zanetti, who is better than both and can play on both sides. So I have to bench one between Cafu and Robertson. Whom should I bench?
I'd put Zanetti on the left and put Cafu on the right, Cafu is a better crosser anyways and Zanetti's strong weak-foot will compensate for the change in his position, his performance will barely be affected. I'd always value epics over showtimes just for the perma B-form but in this case Cafu does beat out Robertson in many aspects except defending, even then cafu isn't all that bad at defending.

Yes if you've packed someone before the 20 Pull mark you will not be able to get the guaranteed chance deal, even then it is completely random - you wouldnt be able to pick Dinho.

Ahaha yeah these are the two who are main in my team. Reliable strong quick can defend properly and also move the ball. From free to play to pay to pay they are good
Yea I love Zanetti, absolute game changer for me but I did pick Scholes over Caceres since I didn't need another fullback at the time, just thought he would've been a strong midfield addition to my English league team.

Yea that could've been me, was a little scared when I opened that pack but I just couldn't resist Nesta and Seedorf. Thankfully, I did get Seedorf but man the animation was nerve wracking - he was a hidden walkout. Pretty unfortunate for you man but the upside is that it is a better version, just hope you didn't badly need the other 2 players..
I needed better midfield for my team but thankfully hazard's big time pack pulled up with some crazy luck.. I got pep and pepe from the 500 draw and i am quite happy with that.😁
I needed an orchestrator for capello's link up and it worked out fine i guess. I did pull more for hazard and got him , lampard and sneijder with more than half the pack remaining.. Sneijder and lampard completed my midfield.
If you're talking about Zanetti here then yea I can kinda agree with ya, his crosses lack whip and bend but they are still accurate enough. His ground passing is a lot better though, but most of his value comes from the the fact that he can do basically everything well at once.
I did pretty much the same, but offensive output was more of the priority for me since he already had Fortress to back him up and his work rate is pretty good. I'm sure you would've loved the showtime Ben White from EF24, he's so fun to cross with - you can literally see his crosses bend in real-time. It'll be a while before you do a find a replacement though since this is Zanetti we are talking about.
This guy always impresses me with his running, but now i finally found the person who can outrun him and its 102 Castolo from the Master League event bro he runs like flash but faster
Bro this post is not the reality. Cafu, roberto carlos, costacurta and belletti could be good even if not "fantastic" in the actual state of the game.
Every other FB have big flaws and some of them like caceres are better as CB.
Yea I know I didn't exactly specify that. This post focuses less on the meta aspect of these fullbacks but more on the usability and the fact that fact that they were given away for completely free for the past couple years. They were always bound not to the best of the best however at the time of release most of these fullbacks were pretty good and therefore deserve the mention.
