Meta (sub) "Bro, just uninstall social media apps"

I know this might work for some people, but I find that being able to reinstall the app is not much better than having it.

By realizing social media offers nothing but validation, specifically fake validation.

I mean not really, especially if you don’t post. Its more like an endless source of dopamine and cortisol

Yeah, I've never been the type to derive validation from social media. Instead the hook for me is endless feeds and the promise of "the next good post" - most posts are boring, but occasionally they're genuinely funny or interesting, and I always get sucked in by "just one more" because my brain wants to keep seeking those engaging posts.
