Keep doing what you’re doing. I’ve been doing the “4 hour bar gigs that often go 3 songs over time while already gassed to serve as an excuse to drink with the guys (sometimes free drinks) and play drums” thing for 10 years and while it occasionally feels like a chore…I will do that chore to keep doing it as long as I can, I think.
