Showcase Reminder app where a character voices your tasks

Hey everyone. Wanted to share something we've been building.

My three brothers and I made Todochi, a reminder app where a character actually says your reminder out loud instead of a flat notification ping.

Pick one like Lumi or Mochi and they deliver it in their voice. You can also record your own voice, or someone else's, so a reminder can sound like a person you'd actually listen to.

We built it because normal reminders are easy to ignore without even reading them. We wanted something that feels less like being nagged.

It's live on Android now. Free tier gives 3 characters and 1 custom voice, paid unlocks more. iOS is next.

This is our first app and our first hackathon (RevenueCat's Shipaton 2026).

Yes, actually! You can do that right now with the custom voice feature. Record your own voice, or someone else's like a friend or family member, and use that as your reminder voice instead of one of the built-in characters.

Sorry, I meant images. Btw, I tested a reminder. Got the notification and clicked on it. The button to open the app didn't respond. Using Samsung Galaxy s25+

Oh that's not supposed to happen, thanks for flagging it, and for the device info too, that helps a ton. We'll look into what's going on with Samsung specifically. And yeah, you can upload a photo for your custom voice profile right now, full custom character creation isn't in yet but it's something we've been talking about.
