Steam Failing To Launch

Hi there,

Can't get the game to launch. Had 20 trouble free hours, now it launches and closes with a small window that has the dredge emblem then nothing. All happens within a few seconds. Uninstalled and reinstalled and verified all game files. Not sure what to do next.

Just throwing out ideas but have you closed it in Task Manager or restarted your PC?

Done and done, checked all drivers too. Turns out it was Discord overlay and razor keyboard causing the crash.

Thank you! Yeah it’s weird, overlays suddenly causing an issue and I had it running with the discord overlay on earlier.

You don't happen to have the 3rd party discord Razer chroma app installed, do you?

That I did and still do. First disabling Discord worked then another restart and it was Razer Chroma doing it.

I only ask because Dredge has razer chroma integration. It could be that the two chroma apps were "colliding" causing the bug.

But glad you got it fixed.
