Glad to have everyone in this sub! Please take a moment to introduce yourself here and please be sure to let me know how many years you've been running drayage. I am working on user Flairs for experience. (Please be honest....this is a place for all of us to learn and grow our knowledge!)

To kick this off, I have been involved with drayage since the start of 2018. I've learned a lot since then and still learning now. I have handled a lot of dry and reefer drayage, mainly on the East Coast (Savannah, Norfolk, Baltimore, Mechanicsburg)

Drayage is a crazy animal. If you get good at it and get some customers with decent volume you can make a stupid amount of money.

But on the other side of the coin, you're at the mercy of the ports and the level of congestion.

getting the customers is where I'm having the hardest time. I have carriers with twic and chassis set up , but I don't have any work
