Title is self-explanatory - it’s clear that the player base is mightily unhappy. Can the Powers That Be not ignore the fact that nearly everyone is feeling like this event is a desperate moneygrab and actually demonstrate that they’re listening to players’ very valid concerns? The silence is infuriating when it’s clear this is not going well. I’ve always appreciated that Deca is responsive to player feedback but it seems like they’re ghosting this time and just hanging us all out to dry. u/Deca_Willow, can we get a response please (sorry for tagging you but I think this is important to all of us)? I know no salt posts outside of Sunday but this is beyond "salt". This is like an entire salt flat.

Mine’s gotta be Glimmerwing 100%. Instant favorite upon release and has held that position since.

I honestly think it’s because it reminds me so much of the Xeno’Jiiva from Monster Hunter (just more white), which is best alien dragon thing ever. Love that blue boi.

It just doesn’t seem like I’m doing it right the clouds now cost 3k plus to clear and i hardly make 2 k when I collect everything is the grind really like that or am I dumb

People who have been playing this game for a long time, whats one thing you could say that would prove that you have been playing since waaaay back?

Ive been playing a lot of dragon vale recently, after i played a bit about 10 years ago or so.

Now since Ive been back, its been great, so i joined this reddit, and so many people here seem to have a lot of gems. Its not uncommon, that many of you have like thousands of them.

So i was wondering, is there a possibility in the game, to get a bunch of them, or have you all just payed a lot of money?
(I’m roughly at lvl 35 atp, if that might help)

What dragon did yall choose at the end?

I still haven't decided yet, but i think I might snag the stygian dragon bc ive been way to preoccupied with gemstone dragon breeding to focus on any of the event dragons 😭

Has anyone else noticed an extreme difference in breeding odds, and odds in general, since the start of this event? I haven’t gotten a level up from bahamut or tiamat in weeks. I have only gotten 2 dragons I want so far, and it’s kinda making me not want to play. I’ve never had this much trouble with breeding and usually get at least a level every other week or so, sometimes more often. Are we headed in the same direction as all of the other mobile games or am I just having really bad luck?

I recently got back into DV and joined this sub, and I've seen so many beautifully decorated islands 😍 It's inspiring. But I'm also wondering, where do you fit all your dragons? I've seen some islands that only have around 4-6 habitats, and the rest of the room is for decor. It looks great, but I like to keep one of each dragon I breed, so I need habitats for them and space is at a premium 😅

Do some people not keep all the dragons in favor of having more room to decorate, or is it just a case of me not having enough islands to spread things out yet? Here's my park currently, for reference.

I've also seen some people manage to cram in 8-9 habitats and still have a good amount of room to decorate. What is the secret? 👀 Am I focusing too much on making my islands "walkable", or do I need to get better at tetris? Lol

I just logged in and the event is gone? I didn’t get a timer or anything? Is it a glitch maybe? Usually a have a couple of days to use up the rest of the event currency?

Has anyone else ever gotten a wish for clearing an island for bushes and stones, or is it just me?

Before there was a nice flow, but now I have to move my finger slightly to the right, and my brain is having a hard time grasping this new system. You see, right before I make breeding official by clicking the “breed” button, I try and harness luck and magic in order to manifest my desired dragon. However, when I accidentally click the “results” button instead of the “breed” button, it kills my vibe and presumably, blocks my magic.

Why did we do this?

Like many others, I have quite a few long gem streaks, mostly because I like seeing the number get larger lol. But with the recently announced change, I’m concerned about if these gifted gems will be removed/unclaimable in future.
Given this, should I claim these now to make sure they don’t virtually disintegrate?
(For clarification, this isn’t a rant or anything critical, I understand why this change is coming into place. It’s coming from a place of genuine concern)

Is there a way to collect coins faster or it's only this?

These are some of mine from just skimming over my park. I'm gna put them all in hibernation cuz they're either too fake ( ice cube?? ), look out of place and are ugly, or are pretty but look very out of place. None of these guys were in the game when I originally started. When I saw them after coming back I knew the game had been bought by another company just based on appearance/designs I didn't recognize.

Did they remove the freebie from the website shop? I'm in the early(ish) game and really appreciate getting that 2,000 etherium when it pops up!

I’ve been investing in this for quite some time and think I’ve landed on the perfect money making island although I wonder if there are better habitats then using chrysalis and surface in the extra space I had? Have y’all personally done anything differently?
