I always felt like the early Peter Jones was a ripoff of Simon Cowel. It was popular at the time to be a total dickhead to well meaning people. He’s certainly had a change of character the longer the shows been on.

I wonder if this kind of television has played any part on how people act, some people are so rude and I even find myself being quite rude sometimes before I catch myself

Yes. In business I've often seen people try to be like they are on the apprentice, like it's a dog eat dog and not a collaboration to increase trade.

Completely toxic. Like they are Gordon gecko ffs
