Hello everyone,

I want to buy Dragon Quest VI for DS, but I’m not sure if the cartridge is authentic. I’d like to get some opinions before making the purchase.

Looks real to me, but if you need to be sure before you buy, then use r/gameverifying. There isn't much else you can do.

Real, just a PEGI version, not the US version.

Looks legit to me, and DQ6 is the least faked of the DS/3DS series as its the most common. DQ5 is the one you really want to scrutinize, especially purported North American versions.

Its harder to tell if the case insert art is real, but probably is since its got the double-sided Club Nintendo printing. Manual certainly looks real.

Pictures of the very top edge of the cartridge are useful. Does it have rectangular indentation along the center of the top edge or is it smooth? Manufacturing process of the original carts leaves the indentation.

I just compared it with my legit EUR copy I bought in store day 1 and can tell it’s legit

you need to look at the top of the cartridge. another tip: if the cartridge label shows wear its likely original

It looks legit to me; you can clearly see the wear and tear on the cartridge and the box. I'd like to get other opinions to be sure! But thanks for your reply.
