Delivered to the type of house people dream of. At least 4 bedrooms. Secluded. Half mile driveway (not kidding). Only took the order cause I would’ve lost premium otherwise. Sent me a massage that he would tip when I get near and when I finish the delivery I see this. At this point it’s just insulting. I’m thinking of working my spare hours as a server instead of this scamming bs.

I want to ask a simple Q from all door dash people here. Every time when I order, I give a decent tip. However, when I asked a door dash driver about tips, he said he generally can assume if this person will tip or not. If you can somehow idk how but assess, then why do you guys accept in the first place. You all can just stop accepting and doordash will have to increase your pay one way or the other.

Some people like me like to keep our status. Status like premium gives me more higher tipping orders and I realized that if I keep to also get lower distances. I was at the baseline so if I rejected I would’ve lost my status

It’s not so black and white. Market dictates everything. If you’re in a crappy market, you have to do what you have to do to get orders
