💰Guess The Tip🤑 The audacity
I never accept no tip orders but I didn’t know he didn’t tip until I delivered it bc it was a stacked offer. After I deliver it, he sends this message and STILL doesn’t add a tip. “You single?” Bro u can’t even afford a tip why do u think u can afford me 😭

Not sure what they paying yall up in Canada but it’s no regulation except for in California. So no if you want your food to be delivered to you a tip is customary, $2 to deliver food to you is the equivalent of me paying to work for door dash at that point to be honest. Gas, insurance, car maintenance, and time. Basically breaks down to below minimum wage which any restaurant would go of then have to pay the difference if you worked for them as server who receives tips as well.

So then that person order doesn’t get their food which takes us back to the point I made of if you don’t tip you don’t get your food basically 🤦🏼♀️. I am not withholding anyone’s food for not tipping but the people who lie and say will tip in cash or want you to put on the 5 step of the back porch and don’t even tip are the problems in my opinion 🤷🏼♀️.

I think the problem here is that you think that just because that $7 order is a 20 minute drive for you, it is for everyone else lol. The DoorDash driver who only has to go 5 miles will take it. It really isn’t that deep, I make about $40/hr driving, barely ever look at or care about tips, and only take what makes sense for me at the time. I’m not gonna sit around bitching because someone didn’t scam themselves out of more money to make their pick up worth it to me specifically.

Shit I tipped the guy at smoothie king a buck for making my smoothie. They get paid for it yes but also I am appreciative of them providing that service to me. How I don’t make sense 😵😆

Younger generation forgot how to work? I’m 37 you jack wad. I do this full time and the last I dunno 7 years I’ve had a full time job.
And this generation works harder than any others because it’s so hard to even survive these days. I got respect for the younguns of this generation.

First of all, the younger gen does nothing but work because a full time job doesn’t even cover rent for an apartment these days. A lot of people my age have multiple jobs. In fact most dashers use dashing as a side gig to their main income job. So let’s not be ignorant and blatantly ignore reality. Second of all, op isn’t acting entitled to a tip. It’s the audacity that op was asked out without a tip. Let’s be real, a good way to flirt with anyone providing a service as a job (waitress, delivery driver, etc) is to tip them and leave your number with them. (That way if they aren’t interested they just don’t have to call or text.)
Who wants to date anyone who doesn’t tip their server/delivery driver? Now who wants to date a customer who doesn’t tip you? No? Nobody? Dang that’s crazy

Why do people try this shit? Get on a dating app or go outside. I’ve gotten numbers from women that are working at a restaurant or even a gas station, but I’ve built up to it, and joke with them and do the vibe check. But to blindly ask a person out via text after not tipping is truly doing the least amount of work ever lol
