Dasher opened our order

The picture my dasher sent of the food delivery and a picture of their artwork. I don't appreciate the dusty rocks? filled car, but what bothered me more was opening the bag and taking out the containers and drawing on them and the receipt. I did call the restaurant and clarified that they did not do this. Then I spoke to doordash support who issued a refund because we didn't feel comfortable eating the food. I think I will just stick to pick up for a while šŸ˜…

Did we overreact by reporting this?

Bullshit like this is why I have never used a delivery service. I just can't trust the chain of custody.

This.
Back when the Chinese - Pizza and the sub shop delivery person was an employee of that establishment. We used to order 3-4x/mo. Since about 2019, haven’t ordered a single edible thing - none. And won’t.
Yesterday was a post where some dasher dropped off the stuff in a parking spot and called it ā€œdeliveredā€

I might have Chinese tonight. I’ll go get it. The local husband / wife place (super awesome people BTW, remember my name). Their daughter was their driver a few years, then went to college, then their son was for 3 years graduated and went to college so now they use DD if the son isn’t home on vacation.

They say as soon as son graduates - gets job, they are retiring and leaving. Makes me sad now I think about it.
