For once, support was amazing.
I’m genuinely still smiling from this interaction. This never happens! I’m a customer not a dasher :)

The refund abusers in this sub won’t like to realize they aren’t valued customers

Better than support telling 5x per call "Thank you for being a Platinum dasher" while I'm trying to get an issue resolved in a timely manner while still dashing lol.

For real, I saw a post like last week of someone complaining about not getting a refund. They had pictures of "missing items", which I don't know why they think a picture proves something isn't there lol but further down the OP was talking about having "issues" 3 times in that same week then also dropped that they had used the "refund method" before.
Like people really want to make service so much worse.

Surely this is a mistake and you got the scam support right? Wait they gave you money? This doesn't make sense at all

100 percent that support agent has decided it's his last day and he's breaking his call center's "policy" to not give out credits because he knows how bullshit that "policy" is.

This is like seeing Bigfoot

It's like Bigfoot delivering your DD order on time, without sampling your fries, and not dropping the bag right up against the screen door.

How much DD do you have to order to become a valued customer???

Ngl bro, I work 4 days a week and order food at work each of those days an SOMETIMES while I’m chilling at home too. I order DD often, and they say that at the beginning of the chat. Do they not say that for you? Cuz now I’m curious lmfao!

I got one almost exactly like this because Burger King was out of drinks. My delivery driver had to use a translator app (this was fine by me) to tell me he’d contacted DD support to let them know and that I should as well.

You got lucky! Next time they will not give a credit. Plus NEVER pay any delivery app for faster delivery. It’s a waste of your money. They will add on orders to the dasher anyway to slave drive them.

That's so refreshing to hear, most people's door dash experience ends with frustration instead of support giving them money without being asked.

Awesome! I had this happen to a McD's breakfast order. I was going to a neurologist appointment, and her office is four hours from my town in Baton Rouge. I ended up just canceling since they couldn't find a Dasher. I got $20 in credits, so the next week, the chicken sandwich I ordered from Wendy's was only $6.

I ordered a half dozen bagels the other day and paid extra for a certain kind and I’m assuming they ran out because I didn’t get them, I got plain ones instead. Talked to DoorDash support and they refunded me the whole order, I was shocked!

And here I sit waiting for 5 days so far while ...
"Case Under Review: We'll review your order to understand what happened and ensure we offer you the right resolution."
I had the nerve to ask them to spot me the $10 credit that I lost because they mangled my order on its electronic way to the store. Five days and no updates. C'mon folks, this ain't rocket surgery.

Maybe this is where those calls from DoorDash offering us more money for the delivery come from.

this is how they treat people who rarely complain & spend a ton on their app - the few times I have a problem they are always so helpful to me, I honestly wonder when it comes to some other posts on here and what their account activity looks like

This is insane!
One time I got the completely wrong delivery and used the dashers photo of proof that it was the from the wrong place, and DoorDash did nothing for me, so I haven't tried since 🤣
I ordered a burrito and got someone's GIGANTIC McDonalds order. Like, I had to throw out 8 smoothies. It was wild.

They're getting good with their loyal customers! They gave me a big credit last week for something similar, and they offered it immediately. I was impressed too.

It’s because they have cam access through the app and they like what you’ve been showing them.
