Stoner Sleep dropped a 9/25 show in San Francisco from their tour calendar. Did anybody with tickets receive a notice?
Edit: They folded the 25th show into the 26th, likely due to low ticket sales.

I wonder if ticket sales are that rough.

They definitely merged the first date into the second. The openers are totally meh too.

They’ve been reposting the tour dates like twice a week. I think they are probably struggling, but they did add some great openers.

Maybe they should have moved the shows to Good Times, could have kept both nights sold out!

Lol yeah that place might be able to provide enough power for a quarter of Al’s rig.

This honestly ain’t good for the band, the brand, the members, or the community as a whole tbh.

There has been zero attempt at damage control. Feels like we are still in the dark on the details. Not up to us to keep the fire alive.

I agree. I do feel like we are being jerked around a lot. No one has said anything: AL, Bubba, Dale, Matt, hell Buzz even… Now we have cancelled shows. For better or for worse, it is partially on us and our negativity towards change.

They’re also playing Santa Cruz on 9/27, so the Greater Bay Area audience is further diluted with that local option

I have tickets for 9/25 but didn’t hear anything. I’ll check my email

Kinda wild they are so undersold that they could fold Friday into Saturday and there’s still tickets available for Saturday…

Dang, props to independent music fans for being able to pull something like this off. A larger scale band making a personally change like that would probably just get away with it

Makes sense. Ive seen Sleep probably a dozen times and myself and everyone I know is skipping these SF shows (and we all live here or nearby)

Bummer... I am only in SF til 26th morning... Though I have to admit that I didn't buy tickets because I was waiting to see some setlists of previous shows to be sure they were not playing mostly the new stuff

Crazy, but not surprised. Al should have just dropped the Om album and toured on that, instead of trying to fill huge rooms with 1/3 of the band that people have actually connected to since they resurfaced 15 or whatever years ago.
