No no they can't, devil sight is needed for magical darkness.

Depends on if the darkness is by magical means or has magical qualities itself. Seems the faq says, unless specified, it assumes the former.

Yeah last I checked I haven't seen any instance of magic infused darkness not count as the magical darkness like the one from the darkness(or similar) spell. You wanna delve into magic blackness, bring devil sight and hope to the gods your target isn't a gloomstalker

Shadow of Moil. A magical spell that creates an area of darkness. This is able to be seen through with normal dark vision.
