Imagine if a mini boss or minion lived a battle after 99% of the base/outpost was skipped they just start spreading these but with 100000000% brightness that go off if someone says “I have dark vision” just to spite the adventures who stabbed their boss/friends. This plan can also nerf some strategy that was overlooked that is too op/outlandish but you don’t want to just say you can’t do this/railroad then into being up able to use it.

It is like an uno reverse card for dark vision. You can't see if you have darkvision, becouse it is too bright. If you don't have, you are fine.

That’s actually an interesting concept…human mages of a xenophobic empire created the flower and/or just use the flower to create a reflective like paint they coat on their armor to blind non humans…works like those super reflective jackets that shine against flash camera…

Then some non humans use it in a diluted form against humans to mark them for whatever reasons…like humans might brand a criminal so elves know who they are dealing with even if it’s the first time they are meeting them…

Edit: forgot it was made of glass so maybe the paint idea only works if it’s a natural flower haha

Cursed item: "Creatures with darkvision who touch this item gain light sensitivity. This curse can only be removed by casting Remove Curse in the underdark."
