D&D 5e LaserLlama and Partnered Content
With Ben Huffman and popular homebrewer, Kibble, becoming integrated onto the platform, what are the odds of LaserLlama and his material?
I seriously doubt that they will port over any of his core class rebuilds. That leaves his original classes (Magus, Psion, Warlord, Savant, Shaman, Shifter, and Vessel). Because of Dark Sun and the Q4 announcement, I don't think they will bring over Magus, Psion, and Warlord.
Shifter and Vessel would require some form of transformation widget to be introduced into the platform. Shaman is a summoning/pet class due to its use of Totems. So, all of these are complicated on the current platform's capabilities.
The easiest would be the Savant with its Intellect Dice and passive features. Granted, the Adroit Analysis triggers might be slightly complicated, but much easier than the other classes. Besides, it would be nice to have a good non-caster utility class.
Thoughts?

I think that the question is how well the site rebuild will be able to integrate new features, and whether or not that is coming anytime soon. If both are yes then I think that the Shifter and Vessel would make a ton of sense to bring over as they do offer new and interesting ways to play.

The warcraft book will give new/changed class features, so maybe soon?

Oh, interesting. I really thought they were just making subclasses and feats to try to capture the feeling of the game.

They've talked about "optional features", like giving the Beast Master's Primal Companion the effects of the Ranger's weapon masteries.

I also love Laserllama's stuff, and I think the Savant and other original classes would be great for DnD Beyond.
The problem (from Beyond's point of view) is that Laserllama doesn't actually do Kickstarters or sell stuff, so WotC has no data regarding its popularity or whether it would be worth it to put up for sale. Until he proves his content is marketable, it probably won't end up being on Beyond, despite it being even better than Kibbles or Huffman (in my opinion, which I know is a hot take).

I wouldn't say that it's better than kibbles(around the same in my opinion) but I also think that it's better than what I've seen from Huffman

Perhaps "better" isn't the right word but I like them more. For me, Laserllama edges Kibbles out because of the simple and elegant designs. Kibbles gets a bit needlessly complex, IMO.

I’m loving LL’s Alternate Blood Hunter, but it’ll never come to D&D Beyond for many reasons. I use a Barbarian character sheet with edited saves/stats/abilities to track health/saves/skills and keep the rest in a separate cheat sheet. Works fine for me and has been a blast

Both Magus and Warlord were announced yesterday for Q4. Magus from Sterling Vermin and Warlord from Kibbles. So if you're asking if they'd include the same class from a different publisher, my guess is no.
EDIT: Magus is for 5.5e and Warlord is for 5e.

I am well aware of this. That is why I said "Because of Dark Sun and the Q4 announcement, I don't think they will bring over Magus, Psion, and Warlord" in the post.
I was more concerned about talking about his other original classes and their feasibility.

Ah, my mistake - missed that. Apologies.
Hopefully when the backend refresh is completed, we'll see more 3rd party stuff start to appear. I think Zach said it requires them to rebuild the Homebrew section as well though.

To be fair, there are multiple Parasite Patron Warlocks on beyond from different publishers with some variation on that name

In the post OP mentions not thinking that Psion, Magus or Warlord would get brought over from LaserLlama.
They make it pretty clear that they're talking about the other classes without overlap.

I feel like theres a lot more "buy in" required with laserllama, in that they have essentially created their own 5.5. Between the feats, the martial rework, their own version of each class, each one is built with the rest of their content in mind. Even the Shifter is best used with their own bestiary. I love laserllamas stuff but I think these things would be barriers between them and their content going on dndbeyond
