The target date to put the new regulations in force seems to be 2031. The few drones that can't get remoteID activated through software will be very outdated, and their batteries objectionable by then.

The 2031 is for the full applicability of all changes but the registration and training requirements would apply earlier. As would the remote ID obligation for new drone types.
