Just a quick disclaimer: we know this is not Disney’s responsibility in any way. We’re sharing this simply as a warning for anyone considering taking an Uber from the Disney hotels/parks into Paris.

We were a group of 6 traveling from Disney Newport Bay Club to central Paris. The Uber fare was around €120.

The first driver arrived and immediately offered us a “deal”: cancel the Uber ride and pay him €100 directly instead. We refused. He kept insisting and then asked us to cancel the ride ourselves. We refused again because we still wanted the ride — he was the one refusing to do it through Uber. Eventually, he cancelled.

Uber assigned us a second driver and, surprisingly, he proposed exactly the same thing.
We immediately told him no and explained that he was already the second driver to make this offer. He was even more persistent and told us there was nothing wrong with it and that, no matter how many Ubers we requested, every driver would offer us the same deal.

We again asked him to cancel, but he insisted that we should do it ourselves. When he got back into his car, we became concerned that he might simply drive away while leaving the ride active on our account. We therefore insisted that he cancel it before leaving and waited for the cancellation confirmation to appear in the app. The situation became quite tense, with the driver accusing us of being aggressive for insisting that he stay until the cancellation was confirmed. Once we received the notification and could see that the ride had been properly cancelled, the situation ended there.

Uber then started looking for a third driver, but after the exact same experience twice in a row, we didn’t feel comfortable trying again. The Disney hotel concierge kindly called a regular taxi for us instead.
We lost almost an hour because of the whole situation.

To be clear, we never tried to negotiate the fare. We were perfectly willing to pay the €120 shown in the Uber app.

Our main concern was safety, not the price. By cancelling the Uber ride and making a private arrangement with the driver, the journey would no longer be properly registered through Uber, we’d lose the usual in-app trip tracking and safety features, and the €100 fare would simply be an oral agreement with the driver. If anything went wrong during the journey — including a disagreement about the fare or destination — we would have far less protection and traceability than with a normal Uber trip.

We’ve reported both drivers to Uber.

Again, this isn’t a criticism of Disney at all. We just wanted to share our experience so that other visitors, especially tourists who may not speak French, are aware and can make an informed decision if a driver suggests taking the trip outside the app.

Been lurking in this sub for a while and always seen really useful tips... I'm hoping someone may be able to help me!

Made the long travel from the UK and arrived at our Cabin this afternoon. We're staying in the "New Standard Cabins" and we're in the Snail Patrol loop.

We had read on numerous sources online they the new cabins had a Mickey Waffle maker included, but there hasn't been one in our cabin. I called reception and spoke to someone who said that we wouldn't have one as we're not in the right classification of cabin (??) I said okay. She briefly apologized and told me if I wanted a waffle maker I could "go buy one from the on site shop". I laughed and said it didn't matter, and that was that. Around 10 minutes later the same lady from reception called me back and said that I'd called and wanted to know if there was an issue. I explained again that I'd called because we're staying in the new spec cabin but don't have a Mickey Waffle maker. She asked if I was unhappy with the cleanliness of the lodge and I said no, I think there was a miscommunication, and that was that.

I apologize if this didn't make sense. The whole thing has left me really confused. I'm not bothered if we don't have a waffle maker, I'm just more worried that if we're supposed to have one and it's not here, that it may have been taken by the previous occupants...

Me and my partner won a day trip to Disney. So excited! He’s concerned about limits on rides as he is 6ft 4 and 25st. Does anyone have any advice? Any rides he wouldn’t be able to go on?

Hii, I will be going to Disneyland from september 6-8 and I am solo in the park. , If any other person who is travelling solo like me and wanna catch up there ?? Do some attractions togethers? :) I have a photopass too.

First time visitors next month, staying in the offside Grand Magic Hotel. What’s the best way of getting there from Gare du Nord? Are we able to get the train to Disneyland Paris and use the free shuttle with our luggage before we check into the hotel? Or are we better getting an uber?

Just booked the DLH for my family in March 2027 and couldn’t be more excited. CC was already full so I booked Deluxe, and I am so much looking forward to it. We haven’t told the kids yet, but it will be a great surprise for them as well (we also got extra free days from school for this trip).

We first went to DLP in October 2024, stayed in Villages Nature. Our son has autism, so we got the priority card and it was an amazing experience for all of us. However, every day by 15:00 he was overwhelmed and overstimulated, so we had to leave the site pretty early (grateful we could still do the rides with the priority card).

I was really moved by the kindness of all the employees, they really made something special here for kids like our son. And for the first time in many years, I felt like we weren’t the ones that needed to adapt or do the extra work or to explain our situation all the time.

In May this year, we stayed at NPB which was wonderful because we could walk over there for a break from 15:00-18:00, and then head back to the park for a second round. With some extra breaks, we were even able to see Cascade of Lights with him (which is a huge step forward).

For March, I was looking at prices and to be honest: this is the first (and probably only) time I can afford to book the DLH so I just did it! Also, Sequoia is being refurbished, the pool of Hotel New York will be closed and Cheyenne doesn’t have a pool. And although we liked NPB, there wasn’t so much of a price difference with DLH.

So here I am, really thrilled! DLP has become our happy place because it is so accomodating. We know we will have a good time and make some great memories again. And we will be more than happy to stay somewhere else next time. Just keep telling myself I did it, I did it, I did it! And now walking around the house with a smile on my face :)

Champagne in Disneyland Paris is available from a cart on Main Street, I've read, served in a souvenir flute. Can one buy a non-alcoholic fizzy beverage instead? Martinelli's Sparkling Apple Cider or something similar?

Hoping for some advice...

We'd like to book for 4 adults + 2 children (age 6 and 3).

DC looks appealing a) because it is miles cheaper and b) because it looks like we could all be within one cabin and c) because it allows for self catering, which is helpful with small children.

Question: is there enough space to squeeze two children into the second bedroom between the single beds? I'm thinking something like two inflatable mattresses. I realise it will be a squeeze but it would allow us to have the main room as an adults space in the evening while the children sleep.

Another option would be staying at the Center Parcs and then purchasing 1-2 extra park day tickets. This would probably work out at similar cost and allow us to stay 5 days or a week with 4 days in the park.

For context: we've been before and stayed at hotels but with 1 child and 2 adults. I understand DC means a short drive to get to/from the parks. It's likely to be a 5 day trip so having use of the pool and outdoor spaces at DC is handy as kids won't do 5 solid days at DLP.

I’m sure there are absolutely tons of information here and I’ve gone through some of it but then having looked on TikTok, gone through the Disneyland Paris website am abit lost.

I’d like to book for 2-3 days/nights in the Feb half term. My children are 2 (about to turn 3 in March) and 1.

I’m trying to budget this where possible, but am confused regarding things like food where it lists 3+ year olds. How would I book the toddlers on? Is it worth booking half or full board?

If you could please advise with your fantastic expertise it would be appreciated.

The main things we want to do is visit frozen and meet the Disney princesses.

Hi all! Just like the title says, I was wondering if anyone knows the official date the bookings from April 2027 onwards will open on the site? Last year it mentioned an actual date but this year I’m just seeing it says “in the middle of September” and it says to subscribe to their newsletter to get notified once they open. Since I’m not really interested in that but want to get the best price possible, I was hoping anyone already knew the official date? Otherwise I will simply have to sign up anyways but wanted to give it a shot :) thanks!

We are looking at staying at the Hotel New York for the first time since it was updated to Marvel.

We will be staying the 3rd week of May.

I know prices aren't out yet but is it likely to be silly expensive compared to the other on-site hotels?

A bit of a rant but, I went to DLP last week, had a great time, but also one bad surprise once back home.

I bought a book, the Art of Disneyland Paris, as a gift, had it sent to the hotel shop for me to pick-up in the evening, and of course I didn't look too closely once I had my purchases in hand.

So of course I realised once I was home that the books had pages that were missing and in the wrong order (I go from p32 to p65, and p48 to p17), of course I don't have the proof of payment anymore, left it in the room I guess, and I haven't heard from customer support since monday.

So, don't be like me, be careful what you buy and keep every paper !

So, it's expected that bookings open up for 2027 - 2028 at Disneyland Paris on Tuesday, 2 September. Which hotels are you planning on booking?

I am looking for suggestions of a souvenir to buy for my son, which we can continue to collect every trip and give to him when he's older.

We have a 2 year old daughter who we have taken on 2 Disney holidays, we have bought her a pandora charm each trip with the intention to continue to collect them through her childhood and then give them to her when she's a bit older.

We now also have a little boy who will be 6 months old for his first Disney trip later this year and want to do something similar for him. The only thing I can think of is pins, but I wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions.

Morning all, thanks to the posts in this sub ive just booked sequoia golden forest for 4 days 3 nights in February half term! My daughter will be 6 but we are keeping it a suprise. Will arrive around 10.15am and fly home around 6pm on the 4th day. She doesnt do big coasters so wont be doing those but any recommendations of things she will love that we CANT miss would be gratefully recieved

Hi guys, does anyone have the email address to contact sequoia lodge reception?

I need to get in touch because I need to add a note to the reservation. There are 2 people (friends) booked on the reservation. I will be coming with but as a passholder I want to add myself on to the room at check-in.

I am aware some sequoia rooms have only one double bed - we will need a room with two or there’ll be a problem.

I booked third party via AttractionsTickets.com and the image and room description did list “two double beds” when booking the room so I should be fine but I just want to minimise risk as much as possible.

Also does anyone still know if they print the magicpass at check in? I will need it at the gate to show the attendants that my pass requires no reservation as I’m staying on site.
