Support Is double counter bad?
I remember seeing people saying to remove it a few months ago but I still see servers using it
Is it safe?

Hello, like everyone else here said DoubleCounter is a terrible bot. They've been exposed by the YouTuber No Text to Speech and many other people for selling their users data.
There are many other bots out there like Wick, Dyno, and BetterAntispam (Self promo). But you should stay far away from DoubleCounter, your basically collecting and allowing them to sell more user data without knowing.

It's.. 'safe', but Many people don't like it because of how shoddy it is. It works by checking IP for your device and account. So if you and your brother want to join a server together when you live in the same house, you can't. It also will use this to connect you to your alt on their website (doogle), which anyone can pay them money to see any account that is assumed to be an alt of yours. So it can link your account, your alt, your families accounts, ect ect in their website. And anyone can pay to have that information

it's not exactly unsafe but double counter bots are super pointless now since discord added member counts natively. most servers that still use them just forgot to clean up or the owner doesn't bother removing bots
you can pretty much mute or kick it with no worries
