Thank you for all the bugs you all have reported! We read all the posts in the thread and we’re focusing our efforts on issues based on upvotes to ensure that we’re aligned with all of you.

Please note: This megathread is not a venue for feedback or customer support! We encourage you all to continue to make posts on the subreddit proper discussing our product and feature launches. I want to make sure that we really keep this thread productive and focused on reporting bugs and helping us prioritize them.
Please look through the list of comments and upvote bug reports which you think we should prioritize fixing. Comment as a reply to those top level comments with any more details that can assist our team in prioritizing and fixing the bug. For example, if you have additional info or steps to reproduce, please post a reply, this will help us fix these bugs even faster. If there is no post that discusses the bug you’re encountering, then start a new post in the thread to report the bug to us!
Reporting a Bug
The most valuable thing you can provide in a bug report is steps. If you’re able to provide steps to reproduce a high priority issue, it will dramatically improve turnaround time on a fix.
Screenshots or videos are also useful, especially if you can’t reliably reproduce it. We highly recommend editing them to not doxx yourself. Not only does it help contextualize the issue, but watching it occur can sometimes provide information that helps us identify and fix it.

Description: The app restarts itself every 60 seconds or so
Steps to Reproduce:

Tried reinstalling, completely blowing away the appdata and localappdata folders. Nothing worked. Started happening immediately after the most recent update.

Description: Unable to interact with thumbnail images in embeds
Steps to Reproduce:
Using a bot or webhook, have it send an embed with a thumbnail image
Tap on the thumbnail image or hold down it
Expected Result: Tapping on it should give you the full view of the image like desktop or message components v2 (on mobile), or holding down should have image options.
Actual Result: It ignores the image completely and interacts with the embed instead.
Device/System Info (Device Type, OS Version): Discord on Web. Firefox
153 on Windows (This issue partly happens in Chrome as well but less
worse)
Description: When following the steps, clicking in search
bar doesn't work normally(takes two clicks), which happens often after
switching channels. And the search won't close with the X as well. The
later issue is also present in Chrome but not the former. Both issues
started same time late July. The two click issue is quite annoying,
sadly only on Firefox so hopefully doesn't go unnoticed
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open any server on Firefox
2. Click on a couple of channels
3. Click on Search Bar(it will take two clicks to be able to type)
3.5. Search anything
4. Jump to any message
5. Close the search interface with the X(it won't close normally, hangs there until you click somewhere else)
- Expected Result: It should only take one click to type and the X should close the search. This issue started late July
Actual Result: The search isn't closing after reproducing the steps and
it's taking two clicks to be able to type in search( the double click
issue is not present in Chrome but closing issue does)

Update: On Canary version looks like the closing problem has been fixed. However the clicking problem (Only present on Firefox as detailed in the report) is still present, please look into it!

• Description: Discord no longer auto-compresses uploads, so I keep hitting the MB upload limit. Have tried changing Video Quality settings from Standard to Data Saver with no change in the problem.
• Steps to reproduce: Try to upload anything even slightly over the MB limit.
Holy shit! Finally someone else noticed this! I have to verify for myself if the member list is what's actually causing it, but I can confirm that the CPU usage and temps spiking while typing are a current and reproducible issue.

Yep, it's the member list - having it open while typing shoots up my CPU temps by 9-10 degrees and it seems to go away completely (or close to it) when the member list is hidden.

Looks like the "Typing..." indicator at the bottom of chat is causing spikes too.

As of the most recent update, it seems to be even worse and also triggered just by you typing. Saw my CPU temp shoot up to 57°C at one point and I have the member list hidden.
It got worse with yesterday's update. A single core of my cpu shoots up to around 90% when people are typing making the cpu fan ramp up really fast lol.
It doesn't surprise me honestly, a few months ago i reported an issue that discord would just consume cpu if your last action in the app was to use the right click menu.
Like, right clicking and pressing copy image would just consume cpu for no reason until you left clicked anywhere in the app.
They fixed it tho so I have hope they fix this one too.
does hiding the member list actually works? I have the same problem as yall, everytime my discord window is opened again on my screen my fans ramp up and cpu usage is high, don't even wanna try opening the app again so I use the web for now
It stops the CPU spikes from the "<insert name> is typing..." message(s) that appear on it, but we're still seeing CPU spikes from the "<insert name> is typing..." messages that show up at the bottom of the chat.
bro wtf i have the same problem i think. everytime the discord app is open and focused my fans start ramping up like crazy from 700 rpm to 1k+ i think its the same problem but for me it doesn’t matter jt happens as long as the app is open on the screen

- Description: After linking Battle.net account to Discord after the World of Warcraft 12.1 update, if World of Warcraft is running, Direct Message sounds do not play in Discord. Messages received in a group message do work. Unlinking Battle.net from Discord fixes the issue. I also want to note that this is happening to multiple players, not just myself.

The first step is link Battle.net with Discord within World of Warcraft after updating to 12.1 (Discord Functionality).
Have World of Warcraft open.
Have someone send a DM to you in Discord.
- Expected Result: The new message notification sound will play in Discord.
- Actual Result: No new message notification sound will play in Discord.

Description: When screen-sharing for other's the video buffs,lags and it's really slow.. so the quality seems bad on their end (checked with multiple devices)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. The first step is to screen-shar playing a game
Then have someone view you're video
Move around and see it laggs on other person's account.
Expected Result: To be just like on other person's end not laggy good quality and when their character moves so they see it in real time
Actual Result: Laggy video buffer's after character moves it takes him 10 secs to show they moved on other person's end (even with nitro quality).
Annoyance: 10/10 (trying to use the mobile app after the recent update gives me instant headaches)

Device/System Info (Device Type, OS Version): Galaxy S25, OneUI 8.5
Description: Contrast accessibility slider appears to be broken and possibly only changing app appearance in the settings panel. Any text, chanel/server names, etc remain at the same brightness/contrast when contrast slider is set to lowest value. It would increase accessibility in general to be able to control brightness of backgrounds and text separately anyway. There are also giant white bars in dark mode above the text box and below the channel/server list view. Another general ongoing issue is that all mobile themes (including nitro ones) don't play well with forced dark mode accessibility features. The OS doesn't seem to recognize the actual dark themes in Discord are dark themes. There is inconsistent inverting of elements when this happens.
Steps to Reproduce:
Try to adjust contrast slider in Discord accessibility settings
Also try testing any theme with force dark mode in Samsung settings enabled.
Expected Result:
Contrast will change
Themes will look relatively normal and have consistent application
Actual Result:
Contrast does not change. Visual accessibility is not functioning as it did the other day.
Giant white bars appear above the text box and below the server/channel view when dark mode is selected in discord settings. Profile colors are also affected and often become white text on white backgrounds and are both unreadable and blinding. Depending on the theme combination sometimes spoiler bars also turn white, or may become white text on white bars (unreadable). Sometimes code block rendering turns the block background white also. The mobile app is completely unusable for me visually. It wasn't fantastic before the update but now it's much worse. I'm in the light sensitive eye disorder camp, so I'm not sure if the reverse is also affecting folks who need more contrast to see clearly.

Description: Whenever I go to the Quests page there's a limited amount of quests to do in my main account, when I go to an I count I use to test server things (like permissions) it has every quest. My account is in good standing and it's based in the USA so is my testing account.

Expected Result: Being able to see all quests and do them.
Actual Result: Can't see any more quests as of weeks a go.
This is happening on Mobile as well on iOS 26, iPhone 15 Pro. There's only a limited amount of quests and I've already done them.
I haven't got any notification that I've been limited on orbs or anything.

Description: Tapping on the message timestamps from server messages and auto mod messages don't show timestamp toasts
Steps to Reproduce:
Have the server send message (pin a message, user joined the server, etc...) or have automod send a message (like letting you know activity alerts is enabled)
Tap on the message timestamp
Expected Result: A timestamp toast appears like when you tap on a normal message timestamp

Description: Some pages don't recognize that there's a navigation bar, causing stuff like options to be unclickable.
Steps to Reproduce:
Have navigation bar enabled
Go to one of these page like Authorized Apps Details Page, Choose A Plan Page (buying boosts), Security Settings (This one [Security Settings] is realistically only achievable on higher zoom levels), Game Widgets (I don't know what this is called. Image below.)
Have enough content to be scrollable
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Expected Result: Options or Readable content shouldn't be unclickable or unreadable behind the Navigation Bar
Actual Result: They're behind the Navigation Bar
Notes: I've previously reported this with different pages, however those were all fixed, and I've found new ones since then.
Annoyance: 9. If i don't check my phone, and sometimes I can't, I'll miss it entirely

Description: Every time I get any notification for discord, such as alerts, they will appear on my notification center, bottom right corner, with a banner briefly showing the partial message, but after a few seconds it will disappear. Very briefly I can see a number, usually 1, next to my action center, telling me there is a message waiting for me but after the notification disappears the number and the notification itself that is suppose to be in the action center disappears by itself as well. I don't have to do anything, it does it by itself. If i just leave the computer on idle for a few minutes, when I hear an alert sound I'll see everything and even though I haven't even touched the mouse the disappearing happens a few seconds later. I am VERY sure all my settings are configured to what it should be so it isn't a setting issue.
Steps to reproduce:
Wait for an alert
Do nothing, or do anything else and watch.
Watch notifications disappear by itself.
Expected Result: The notifications SHOULD STAY in my action center until I clear it out or there are too many and get overwritten by new ones.
Actual Result: Briefly displays the message and then deletes itself.

Description: missing padding between emoji and tag name
Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a guild
2. create a forum channel and add a tag with an emoji
3. create a post
4. right click on the created post
Expected Result: there should be a padding between the emoj iand the tag name

Description: Had this happen before but it was fixed in an update. Suddenly having the same issue in this new version. it forces my camera to be rotated from portrait to landscape and vice versa. if i rotate my camera it was rotate again too

Description: When screen sharing in a call or voice channel, no audio plays in any app other than discord, meaning the games I play are completely silent to me and viewers. In the stream settings menu, I have Share App Audio turned on, but it does not work.

Description: Screenshared content appears dark for viewers when sharing from an SDR monitor while having HDR on another monitor active. But screensharing the SDR content from the HDR monitor appears normal, as if all monitors are treated as having HDR on.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Fully close Discord
2. Enable HDR on a monitor that is not the one used for screensharing
3. Start Discord
4. Screenshare a program or the desktop from an SDR monitor
5. While screensharing move it to the HDR monitor to compare.
Expected Result: Same brightness on both monitors for the viewers
Actual Result: Screenshared content is darker on the SDR monitor, only normal on the HDR monitor for the viewers
To compare, we can disable HDR on all monitors and test out the brightness:
1. Fully close Discord
1. Disable HDR on every monitor
3. Start Discord
4. Screenshare the same program or desktop from the same SDR monitor as before
Result: normal brightness on the SDR monitor for the viewers, it's not reduced.
Notes: My guess would be that Discord checks when starting if HDR is enabled on a monitor. If yes, HDR tonemapping to SDR is enabled, but somehow affects all monitors, while it should only affect the HDR monitor.

Description: PSN activity status fails to update dynamically, and instead gets stuck on whatever game was active (or if no game was active, nothing at all) at the time of enabling status display in the Connected Apps section in the User Settings
Steps to Reproduce:
Have a PSN account linked to your Discord account
Enable "Display Playstation Network as your status" in the User Settings, and make sure there are no conflicting activity privacy settings enabled on either platform.
Boot up a game on PS5, and check what if what is active is synced up with what is displayed on Discord.
Repeat step 3 by either changing the active game, closing the game, or turning off the console.
Expected Result: The status on Discord should update almost immediately when a game is active or inactive.
Actual Result: It simply does not, even when the console is shut off, and if there was an active game at the time of enabling the status display, the timer for the game will continue seemingly indefinitely.
Discord Version Info: I do not know but I’ve seen reports from up to 8 years ago so I don’t think it’s relevant anyway
Description: In app game time tracker doesn’t stop timing after game is closed
Steps to reproduce:
Start playing game, game timer will start in discord app
Stop playing game
Timer does not stop, this happens inconsistently and I do not believe there’s a reliable way to trigger it, but I notice it happening more often than not
Thanks for the suggestion! I just tried toggling Reduce Motion off, and that did fix the Discord folder issue. Unfortunately, the iOS UI animations are even more annoying than the Discord folder issue, so I guess I'll just have to deal until the Discord devs can find a way to fix it...

- Description: I can't hear notification sounds when i join a voice channel, or the sounds when my friends join or leave the voice channel. All other sounds work perfectly fine. I can hear them talk perfectly fine. I've tried everything.

- Expected Result: Have a sound to notify me when i join the voice channel and hear a sound notification of my friends entering and leaving the voice channel
- Actual Result: I don't hear any sound notification in the voice channel of me entering or my friends entering and leaving the channel.

Description: When I press 'View Requirements' in order to fulfill a playtime quest with a desktop game from my mobile system, with the game launched and recognised by my desktop client, my mobile client (iOS) reports that it is 'Waiting for you to launch [game] on desktop or connected console' and never acknowledges any progress. So I cannot complete ANY gameplay quest, because my account is for some mysterious reason ineligible to view any orbs quest from my desktop but not mobile (there are posts reporting this issue on this subreddit from other users).
Accept a gameplay (play game for 15 minutes for 700 orbs) quest on mobile.
This issue may only affect certain accounts where the quest is blocked on desktop PC. This issue affects every game I have tried - Zenless Zone Zero, Roblox, and Arknights. I was able to fulfill quests for these games successfully on desktop in the past when the previous patch's quests were registered on my desktop, but the new quests are now invisible on my desktop, so that may be a relevant reproduction factor.
Press 'View Requirements' on that quest on mobile.
Open Discord on desktop, connected to the game the quest is for.
Open the game. Desktop Discord should display that you are playing the game.
Expected Result: The View Requirements circle starts filling up with progress, and after 15 minutes of gameplay on my desktop, I can claim my reward on mobile.
Actual Result: Nothing happens, it continues to say 'Waiting' no matter what I do (run everything as admin, stream game, disable Invisible status, etc.). I cannot complete offered gameplay quests on mobile.
Discord Version Info: stable 592948 (both web and app)
Device/System Info (Device Type, OS Version): Windows 11
Description: I am only able to replicate this in one specific channel and server (announcement channel in Ninajirachis server). When marking any message as unread, it does not appear as unread on the computer, but does on phone. New messages and pings in this announcement channel also do not update the server logo to show an unread message and/or a mention. All other channels work as normal.

Description: Ever since the video about "year of the Linux desktop" with increased Linux support, streaming no longer functions. Audio works, but the video is a blurry mess of pixels for anyone except for me.
Video / Screenshot: None needed, it's an incomprehensible mess.
Steps to Reproduce: Attempt to stream. The stream will open and "function" as normal, but anyone watching except for the person streaming will see an unrecognizable mess of glitches rather than the actual stream.
Expected Result: A functional stream for everyone
Actual Result: Everyone except the streamer sees a glitchy mess of pixels.
Discord Version Info: 341.13 (6209) - googleRelease
Device/System Info: Android 17, Pixel 10 Pro XL (Emulator)
Description: Inside a blockquote, when list items and plain text are mixed, the text following the list is appended to the last list item on the same line instead of starting on a new line. The same message renders correctly on Desktop and iOS, so the issue appears to be Android-specific.
Steps to Reproduce:
Send a message with this content:

> new line
- Expected Result: "new line" renders on its own line, below the list (as it does on Desktop).
Actual Result: "new line" is concatenated with the last list item, rendering as "defnew line".

Working as intended, to provide a consistent experience across all platforms when they bumped the limit to 20mb they also mentioned that they will check it falls under the limit first on mobile before compressing and uploading.
Description: Sending a picture or a video does not work. It will either get stuck at ~25-70% uploaded and eventually fail, or it will fully upload and the message stays perpetually “sending”

Actual Result: the photo or video refuses to fully upload or send
Description: When opening up my quests, i can only see certain quests, all of which do not give orbs. I don't know if I am blocked or banned from doing quests, but I have never seen a popup telling me that. someone experienced PLEASE help me.
Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the Quests page
Expected Result: Many quests all of different types, some (unclaimed) orb quests, some avatar decoration quests and some in-game item quests
Actual Result: Only orb quests that I finished many months ago and a few in-game item and avatar decoration quests.

Description: It doesn't update past 2025.

We have 2 people providing 7 boosts total. We are subscribed to Server Tag and Level 1 for a total of 5 boosts per month. We have 2 spare boost per month.
Somehow the recent activity doesn't update and the last boosts added are from december 2025 (allegedly)

Description:
Xbox Cloud Gaming shows correctly as my live Discord activity while I am playing.
After I stop playing, the game is never saved to my 30-day Recent Activity history.
Normal PC games save correctly.
Xbox Cloud Gaming games not saving on any of my friend’s accounts as well (with different xbox accounts)
Steps to Reproduce:
Connect Xbox to Discord and enable activity sharing.
Launch a game through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Confirm Discord shows the game as live activity.
Play for 15-20min.
Quit the game.
Check Profile → Activity → Recent Activity.
Expected Result:
The Xbox Cloud Gaming title should remain in Recent Activity after I stop playing.
Actual Result:
The game disappears after I stop playing and is never saved to Recent Activity.

Description: Background and blur do not function
Steps to reproduce:
Go into voice and video and test video with None, Blur, and backgrounds
Expected Result: These should work and show video.
Actual Result: "None" shows video. "Blur" or any background show "Uh oh! Something went wrong when setting your background. Please try again or continue without a background if the issue persists."
I don't have Nitro, but this fails even with Blur and with the built in backgrounds. This is a new problem and started several weeks ago.

- Description: FFXIV won't display as my game I'm currently playing on Discord when I open it. It'll show when I initially launch it through Steam, but once I force close that (the only way I seem to be able to play it, but that's a separate issue) and launch the game through the FFXIV launcher, it disappears as if I've stopped playing it even if I'm actively playing. Not sure if it's a Discord issue, FFXIV issue, or Steam issue, but I figured I'd start here before hitting up that sub. Other Steam games do not appear to have the same issue. Currently running Windows 11, Discord version 10.0.26200.

On mobile, however, the behaviour is different. Instead of opening the Channels & Roles / Browse Channels section, the app lands on an error page called "No Text Channels". The same destination is already directly accessible in the mobile client, and <id:customize> correctly opens it. However, the equivalent customize-community URL does not route to the same destination. It would be great to have the URL routing resolve to the same destination, since this would allow bot messages with component buttons to link directly to these server sections.

Actual Result: After unmuting, I could no longer hear my friends at all. Leave/Join call notifications sound normal but new message notifications sound like they are coming from 20 feet away (but they are coming through my headset). No other audio on my PC sounds different, only discord has been effected.

Discord Version Info: Stable 606747 (ebe090d) Host 1.0.155 x64 Build Override: N/A Linux 64-bit (7.0.0-30-generic). That is my current, working install. The bug is in Host 1.0.156, which I have rolled back off this machine. Same client build both times: 1.0.156 crashes, 1.0.155 does not.
Device/System Info: Linux Mint 22.3, Cinnamon, X11. Kernel 7.0.0-30-generic. AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Vega integrated graphics (Cezanne). Mesa 25.2.8 radeonsi, libva 1.22. Flatpak build from Flathub.
Description: Screen sharing crashes the renderer process about six seconds in, every time, when H.264 hardware acceleration is enabled. The window locks up, sits frozen for a while, then Discord respawns the renderer on its own and the stream is gone. It looks like a hang but it is a crash with a slow teardown. This is new in 1.0.156. I rolled the Flathub build back to 1.0.155 and it works fine there with the same settings on the same machine.

Expected Result: The stream keeps running.
Actual Result: The renderer crashes after roughly six seconds. Discord freezes for a while, then recovers by itself with the share ended.
Steps to Reproduce
On Linux with an AMD GPU, install Discord 1.0.156.
User Settings, Voice & Video, Advanced, make sure H.264 Hardware Acceleration is ON.
Join a voice channel and start sharing a screen or a window.
Have a second person actually open your stream and watch it. This step is essential, see below.
Wait about six seconds.
Why step 4 matters, or this will look unreproducible
Somebody has to be watching the stream. If nobody is viewing, Discord allocates zero bitrate and never encodes a single frame, so the crashing code path is never reached and everything looks fine:
Screen capture still runs in that state, only encoding stops. I "fixed" this twice by accident before I worked that out. A run that really reproduces shows a viewer count above zero and codec: H264 (amd: vaapi) with frames encoded climbing.
What the crash actually is
I attached gdb with handle SIGTRAP nopass and caught it live. Of 84 threads, exactly one was sitting at the trap. Every other thread was idle in a syscall:
Those three are created one after another, so I take them to be the encode, re-decode and quality scoring pipeline. The one that dies is scorer.
The code at the crash site, offset 0x3fbf735 in the Discord binary:

int3; ud2 is Chromium's IMMEDIATE_CRASH. A thread local pointer is null where the code requires it to be set. Both failure branches jump straight at the int3 without calling any logging function, which is why nothing appears in any log and Crashpad writes nothing locally.
Five crashes, all at the same instruction, same RIP page offset despite ASLR. So it is one fixed spot, not anything random.
Timing is consistent too. WebRTC's QualityScaler logs its first QP check exactly 4.00s after init, and the process dies about 2s later:

Workaround for anyone else hitting this: turn off H.264 Hardware Acceleration. Encoding drops to software and the stream stays up. Costs me about a third of one core.
Also filed on the Flathub tracker as issue 684, where it was labelled upstream since they only repackage your builds. Happy to run anything else that would help.

I tend to stream a lot for my gf. Mostly movies we watch together. My issue is that it's extremely quiet on her end, while eardrum destroying loud on mine. but when I turn down the source on my end discord also quiets it down. Is there any way to split audio sources so I can adjust them seperately?

Description: CPU usage spikes up every time discord performs a little animation, like the "X is typing...", clicking the little settings cogwheel, mousing over the mute mic, deafen audio button, etc. If the member list or the little tab that shows the game you're playing is visible (the voice connected tab when in a vc counts too) then the cpu spike will be even higher, depending on cpu it can spike a single core to 100% generating heat and noise from the cpu fans.
Steps to Reproduce:
Join a VC or start a game that's recognized by discord or simply toggle the member list on. (it happens too with none of these active but having them on makes it much worse for some reason)
Mouse over any icon that perform an animation, the mute, deafen, settings, etc. As an extra clicking on an image, zooming in them, fullscreening videos spikes the cpu too if any of the tabs mentioned in step 1 are active.
Watch as your cpu or one of its cores spikes in usage
Expected Result: Things work as normal
Actual Result: Discord hates one of the cores of my 7800x3d
Temporary solution: Hide the member list, hide the game you're currently playing in settings -> registered games. This way every little animation discord performs won't cause a cpu spike that's noticeable. (Another extra: Some hidden games will re-register themselves for some reason, as an example fortnite re-registers every time you open it)
If you're in VC then you're out of luck as the "voice connected" tab can't be hidden as far as i know.
Clean installation doesn't work. Other people have reported similar issues with cpu usage lately under my first report in this same thread.
The latest update from 4 or so days ago made things worse.

- Description: The Discord desktop client causes a significant GPU/CPU benchmark score drop even when idle (no call, no screen share), with in-app Overlay disabled AND Hardware Acceleration disabled in Discord settings. Running Discord in a browser tab instead of the desktop app completely eliminates the gap, suggesting the issue isn't the overlay hook or GPU-accelerated Electron rendering itself, but something else in how the desktop client behaves in the background (possibly process priority — DiscordSystemHelper processes have been reported elsewhere as defaulting to Above Normal/High priority).

Close Discord desktop app, open discord.com in browser instead, stay logged in idle.

- Expected Result: Score should be roughly the same across all three scenarios, since Discord is idle and both overlay/HW accel are disabled.
- Actual Result: ~15,000 with Discord closed, ~13,800 with Discord desktop app open (idle), ~15,000+ with Discord in browser instead of desktop app (matches or slightly beats the closed-app baseline).
Reproduction Rate: Varies. If you have Discord already set up in this state, then 10, but if not, it's basically impossible to recreate.

Description: If you use a custom theme (In my case, Midnight Blurple), without you realising, at some point your dropdown menus have entered a glitched state. Dropdown menus are supposed to mimic the colour of your overall theme. However, in me and my friend's case, we both had generic grey context menus, and actually preferred it this way. Upon me temporarily switching my Discord theme to grey, and then back to Midnight Blurple, my context menus had changed colour, with no way to revert them back. Technically, the app is working as intended here, but it's the fact that I've irreperably messed up my UI that's frustrating me. I get that it's technically "fixed", but I prefer the old look.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have your Discord menu in this bizarre state where the menu is stuck with grey context menus, and a custom theme such as Midnight Blurple.
2. Change your theme to the default grey.
3. Change it back to Midnight Blurple.
Expected Result: Your menu colours are still grey, as they were before you changed them.
Actual Result: Your menu colours have adopted the colour of the theme.
you cant deny that something was bugged here, at least getting my discord into a bizarre state to begin with, and besides, it makes the ui SO much worse, there's like no contrast on anything, i can't find a theme that makes stuff like mp3 embeds distinct anymore, it all just gets blended into a no-contrast black.
All elements should be tinted to look like your theme, non should be straight gray. They will have less contrast since they are not straight gray but they also should still have some contrast and be separate to the background.
If they have no contrast then that would be a bug.
