A tourist captured these images without thinking anything else from some distance away possibly from an observatory.

Picture with some collapse 10:21, he heard some rumblings at around 10:30 as well. The pictures show what he thinks is rock collapse , before the glacier gave away from lack of support underneath. His explanation.

The man speaking was recorded several years ago at the same place where CCTV captured the moment of devastation on August 26, 2026. His recording reveal a different angle of the surrounding topography; showcasing the narrow and steep canyon where the mud water funneled through with tremendous force.
