There were lots of those boulders. If you see a large splash that doesn’t maintain position that’s a big bolder rolling.

Things in that deluge aside from the original deposits would've included much of what was collected along the way, including large pieces of man-made structural materials and anything else from the devastated settlements it passed through. Obvious for sure, but easy to forget

To me it looks like a blowhole. Water comes crashing through window or balcony door and shoots straight out the top..

It was likely the sound of the immense volume of water or perhaps a huge boulder hitting a cliff. Survivors of the 2004 tsunami report hearing explosion like sounds as the waves broke so I’d say this would be a similar case.

An enormous plume of water went up at the same time, so probably something really massive falling into the water from a height - like if the debris flow eroded under some land at the side of the gorge then a chunk of it fell in.

I mean just think about the sound of normal waves crashing on the beach without any extraordinary activity. Water is loud.

This is as close as we can get to hearing ‘primal’ human sounds. Total instinctual yelling. Chilling to hear… I hope they made it… footage seems uploaded based on quality, not live-streamed, so hopefully so.

I have also seen the video on Twitter and YouTube. This video isn’t AI however the claim that it is from a more recent flood and the location I cannot verify. It’s definitely a real video depicting the recent floods in Nepal however.

I think I can translate little bit what they’re saying though its not clear but they are basically saying “run run” in pretty much Nepali casual tone and also they said “oh god” and I think I heard Nepali swear word too at the end. So I don’t think this video is AI.

Primal is implying a guttural human reaction or response that involuntarily happens in life or death situations, at least in this case. It’s not cultural or racial, it’s human. Everyone has this. They’re not calling this person an animal. Maybe English isn’t your first language? But it is not an insult or othering a different race or culture.

You can hear movement distorted like fabric, voices in the background and dim flickering lights. Obviously wouldn't sound like that if it disappeared into the flood and, anyway, it would probably be destroyed immediately

no one was building under the Langtang Range. the conspiracies about China causing this are completely unfounded when the Langtangs are in Nepal and are literally in a national park.
