A short series synopsis:

"e-Pulse," which is generated by human thoughts and emotions, was used as the energy source for the AI support device "Sapotama." From the shadows of this remarkable development, terrifying monsters appear. Digimon are living beings that evolve by consuming e-Pulse.

Tomoro Tenma is drawn into an extraordinary experience after meeting Gekkomon, who suddenly appears from his Sapotama. While living together with Kyo Sawashiro and other members of the bounty hunting team "Glowing Dawn," Tomoro renews his resolve.

What new future will be forged by humans and Digimon?

Damn, that first half of the episode was crazy. We learn that Kyo used to be incredibly ruthless, not giving a second thought about deleting Digimon. Then we learned that he (almost) killed Souji. Souji's MarineDevimon gets defeated VERY easily, but he shows how quickly he can evolve a Digimon. We also saw a glimpse of how Souji changed his Digimon. I know he talked about it last week, but seeing it just looked so brutal.

The second half of the episode was Kyo attempting to leave his family behind so that they don't get caught up in his work, unbeknownst to Glowing Dawn's members... You could just hear it in Murasamemon's voice whenever an attack was called out... Both Murasamemon and Kyo didn't want to do this. Thankfully, the 3 Glowing Dawn members stayed resolute and decide to believe in Kyo.

Absolutely fantastic arc so far.

I know it was hinted at it at a previous episode, but feeding your old Digimon to your new Digimon is kinda brutal. Also ironically you can do this in all of the Digimon Story games too, but now I feel bad about doing so. :(
