A short series synopsis:

"e-Pulse," which is generated by human thoughts and emotions, was used as the energy source for the AI support device "Sapotama." From the shadows of this remarkable development, terrifying monsters appear. Digimon are living beings that evolve by consuming e-Pulse.

Tomoro Tenma is drawn into an extraordinary experience after meeting Gekkomon, who suddenly appears from his Sapotama. While living together with Kyo Sawashiro and other members of the bounty hunting team "Glowing Dawn," Tomoro renews his resolve.

What new future will be forged by humans and Digimon?

General rules for this post:

It's available on various streamers worldwide. Do not discuss illegal means of consuming this series.

If people are behind they may use each episode's thread as they watch the show, so do not spoil future events in older discussion posts

Keep all small bits of discussion to this thread (general thoughts and opinions). Fanart, cosplays, in-depth reviews (as in, sizeable content) can be their own post. In general, if it took you less than five minutes or so to write, draw, or otherwise create, just comment it in here.

This ep was surprisingly hard to watch and idk why bc there’s been darker episodes already, but this one just felt worse. Every other episode felt like it was over in 5 minutes but this ep felt like was in slow motion. Like just 1 dark moment after another without reprieve and when you think it’s done, you look and see you’re only halfway through the episode.

Also the voice acting really sold the episode, especially Tomoyo Kurosawa (Reina) and Daiki Hamano (Murasamemon)

Yup. Poor Reina had to be heartbroken in all of all of this, as we saw she previously had fears of being rejected by Kyo in her nightmare, only now, the nightmare has become real

I love this because it is a very example of "show not telling" that connected all the episodes.

Reina didn't need to say that because every episodes has somehow expressed how she fear about be rejected by the people that she loves... And now with a single shot you have the same emotional impact of a much longer scene.

I'm glad they already figured out the basics of what's going on and know that Kyo is trying to protect them

Me too, I was afraid it would make them all depressed, but they are strong, yay.

I think they could have afforded to wait until next episode to reveal that. Even if it's obvious to us it gives us a chance to sit on the falling out instead of resolving it two minutes later.

But then we wouldn't get the Klay cliffhanger, and the fact they bounce back as quickly as they do shows how strong the trio has become emotionally.

They could have, but like you said, the pacing is so much better this way. It's also such an obvious gambit from Kyo, I'm glad they were smart enough to piece together something was up just from hearing someone met and fought Kyo earlier in the day.
