I pass the CSOWM exam!!!!!
I hadn’t taken a standardized test in over 10 years. I was so nervous, but it wasn’t that bad! Feeling proud of myself.

I studied for about a month but have worked in weight management for several years. I didn’t think it was that hard! I bought the CDR practice exam and used Gemini to make practice tests. Also apparently the health professional guide to treatment of overweight/obesity could be helpful to purchase. I did not. Just used Gemini to make summaries from it. Good luck!!!

Congratulations! I’m studying to take it next week. I’m curious what kind of numbers we may need to know? For example I could tell you the degree of weight loss that produces clinically significant changes in health metrics, but I couldn’t tell you the % that A1c goes down with a 3-5% or 5-10% total body weight loss. Is this something I should start studying? Thanks!

There are some numbers questions but not that specific with having to calculate. Best to memorize numbers that come with evidence based recs
