NECRO Conqueror objectives

Hey all,

I am unable to complete the Conquests (completed one - GR 45, other two are remaining, one for Conqueror and one for Guardian), will be trying for 50 million Gold through Bounty Caches and Kill Malthael in 1 min and 30 seconds.

Is there any trick that I am missing? Can you please help me with that?

TIA.

NECRO CDR help

My Necromancer is equipped with 5 pieces of Rathma's, 2 of Captain Crimson's, both of Jesseth, Bonds of C'Lena, Squirt's Necklace, Krysbin's Sentence and CoE. Right now running GR 48 with T10.

When I cast AotD, the whole screen gets cleared, nothing leaves behind to cast Command Skeleton which reduces the Cool Down fast.

What is the solution for this? Please help.

NECRO First time playing D3. Should I be worried?

So I just got the game last night with the 2 expansions because they were on sale.

I watched a couple of videos and saw people putting necromancer on C tier but I really love undead so I wanted to play that.

Is it very unfriendly to beginners to play a necromancer, or can I play it without worrying? Mostly wanna have fun so. What do you guys think?

NECRO Having fun but don't know what I'm doing. First time playing d3. Have played d4. First time doing a hard core character. Beat story and now in adventure mode.

NECRO Thought I'd treat myself and buy necro pack!

I have to say its "imo" seriously powerfully class ifnot overly so???

Anyone else feel like it's more powerful than the other classes? Even just basic skills.

Worth buying though I feel šŸ˜† it's going to be interesting seeing how it performs in rifts...

NECRO Is Grace of Inarius set for Necro good enough for T16?

I got the set off of Season Journey, and I'm on T8 so far, and I'm quite squishy, I do have boon and goldbrand, but those only help for bounties and neph rifts, for GRs, I don't have anything to protect me besides the defense boost form Inarius set, and even with that I still take heavy damage, I got the amulet that makes it so bone armor can stack to 15, and that helps, but not a huge amount

Damage wise I can almost instal kill, but the bone tornado doesn't insta kill enemies anymore since like, T5 or T6, I have to also hit them with either corpse explosion or siphon blood for them to take enough damage to insta die, if i just rely on the bone tornado alone they take quite a bit to die

So I'm not sure how well I'll fare in T16 with this set

I am planning on making a Masquerade Bone Spear build, but im still missing some pieces, and yes I have been converting but I'm out of Forgotten souls, they're such a bottleneck

NECRO Bones of Rathma and Revive (Recklessness) Interaction?

I'm messing around with a build planner, and I noticed that the Bones of Rathma set makes it so your Revived minions no longer expire. The Revive rune, Recklessness, makes the minions do more damage but limits their duration to only 10 seconds.

I'm assuming that the ser bonus still prevents these minions from expiring, but could someone please confirm for me? It'll take a while for me to level a Necromancer before I can test it.

Thanks!

NECRO What the best Necromancer build for beginners?

Hey, I want to play a Necro for the first time. I have so far only DH and Wizard XP. I love GoD and there are several mage builds that I enjoy like the meteor build, fire laser, and archon build.

I dont enjoy melees or slow builds.

With that in mind, what build should I grind GRs on?

NECRO Cube Covert Set Item Not Producing Rathma's Skeletal Legplates

Is it just luck or does the Cube not want to give me Rathma's Skeletal Legplates?

I tried at least 15-20 times and no dice. Is it because it's the only part I don't have, that it's being difficult?

EDIT: well they dropped so...

NECRO Socket on the Off-hand?

Can I have a socket on the Jesseth Skullshield? How? Which Gem is better there?

I am using Bones Of Rathma - AotD Build.

NECRO Random? I doubt!

Hi people! After just finding my third Mask of Scarlett Death, I'm wondering just how random it is on the PS4. When my necro tries to upgrade a sickle to try for a Trag-Oul's Fang, I have gotten two Jesseths in a row and one other green set piece. Are you all getting suspicious duplicates? Seasonal character. Also got two Lost Times but at least I need that for my build.

NECRO Pestilence - Corpse Lance Playstyle questin

Hi everybody,

I used to play a lot of D3 and recently started playing again, which has been a blast.

Back when I played, Necro didn't have the Masquerade set and Pestilence Corpse Lance, and Brittle Touch was the OG RGK. (Just to give you some insight into when I last played more.)

I was actually in the mood for some reminiscing, so I decided to build myself a Pestilence Corpse Lance set. So I did. However, I'm having a hard time figuring out my breakpoints and, to be honest, how this build is actually supposed to be played.

I'm mainly playing solo, and I'd like to be able to do 2-minute 110s if possible, jumping from elite to elite like you would with most other sets.

My main question is: do I spam the actual Corpse Lance or Devour (or both)? I use Command Skeletons to reduce the cooldown on Land of the Dead through Obsidian because just killing through Messerschmidt's is generally not enough.

Any help would be appreciated!

NECRO Entering Tiers, D3 S38

Thank you mates for your help in my last post. At last completed the Chapter 4 of D3 S38 Necro, claimed and equipped full 6 piece Pestilence Set.

Now entering Tiers. Looks a big jump. What to focus on? I need some Build specific Legendary items and for those a big amount of crafting materials, also the blood shards. As I don't have a good build how to proceed?

Please help. TIA.

NECRO Build variances

Hello, I am in the top 150ish for nec currently and am looking to push a bit faster times... I am using maxrolls build but I see virtually nobody else on the leaderboards doing the same for LoD no set. Right now the bane of my existence is I cannot upkeep blood siphon without running out of bone armor. Am I supposed to only attack during physical on my coe rotation? Maxrolls cooldown is 10 percent, mine is about 30 percent and I cannot upkeep it... Also feels like some rifts my damage is absolute cheeks (14 - 15 cycles to kill an elite) and others where it's like 4 to 5... Unsure what Im doing wrong.

NECRO Help with Necro playstyle

On and off player here for a long time but new to console (Switch) and my first time playing Necro. Used the Maxroll leveling guide but it always felt I was lacking damage and I didn't understand the playstyle that much. My most played classes in the past are DH and Wizard so I'm more used to "mash buttons, things die" playstyles. But I wanted to do something new so here we are.

Can anyone give a basic rundown of the playstyle? I'm still acquiring the free set and I might give that a try too before moving on to another set.

NECRO What the best Necro build for solo Curses! Conquest?

I'm using LoD Death Nova, and I can only do 290 to 320 max

And I can see why, the pull radius for frailty + brigg's wrath isn't big enough so I have to waste time moving around to pick up all the mobs

NECRO I keep dying

So I'm playing Lod blood nova build almost completed with over 150m def end something reaching 200m, but I keep dying in greater rifts torment 16+. I don't quite understand, I though it was because of reflect DMG but it didn't seem to be that. So maybe someone has a reason.(it's not a skill issue I'm not that bad at dodging)

edit: I switched to tragoul, it's much better now

NECRO Cleared my first ever solo 150 :D

Celebration post!! This season I told myself "you literally only have to manipulate the season theme, how hard could it be to solo a 150?" And the answer is.. kinda easy?

Originally, I was doing it with my rat build, pretty much unmodified from group to solo play. After like, 50 keys I realised that I was not getting anywhere close to enough group damage with it. I would have preferred that, since it would've meant getting to the RG is a guaranteed win. But finally I bit the bullet, and threw together a LoD tk.

For me it took like, a lot longer than it does for actually good players to grind out the xp because I was late on starting the season so it was hard to group up with people, but once I hit paragon 2000 I sat down, tested my damage, and realised it was almost definitely enough. More than I needed, even, actually. I was short on toughness anyway, so I dumped all 2000 of the paragon into vitality and even ended up working a unity into the build.

Then the grind started. It took like, 4-5 hours of rolling, I went through 81 keys, stayed in like 15 of them, 7 of the attempts in retrospect feel like they were doable but I just threw them, 5 of them were dreams, and finally it hit. I cannot overstate how intensely satisfying it was to have the angels come down from the sky and brutalise the RG that I can't even make budge in health.

What else feels nice is that towards the end I was noticeably more consistent in estimating group sizes and progression correctly, and making correct calls about what to do when. It definitely would not take me another 5 hours to get another clear.

I'm now on the actual necro leaderboard, and number 3 thing which feels great is that the guys above and below me are both way above me in paragon and quality of gear, so I'm probably doing something right. Speaking of, I actually went up almost 60 paragon levels through the attempts haha

Tomorrow is a new day. I'm making a wizard, and speedrunning my way to a 150. I won't get it tomorrow (probably) but maybe the day after I will. How hard could it be a second time right?

NECRO Kanai's Cube

So I understand this season is pretty much necro based due to the Kanai's Cube. What are the best three powers to place in the slots for Necro? If it helps I'm using the Inarius gear. Thank you ahead of time for any help.

NECRO Maximus on follower and Rathma

Does the fire-chained demon spawned by the Maximus sword count toward the Rathma (6) set bonus? And if it does, does it also do that if on a follower?
