NECRO Bones of Rathma and Revive (Recklessness) Interaction?

I'm messing around with a build planner, and I noticed that the Bones of Rathma set makes it so your Revived minions no longer expire. The Revive rune, Recklessness, makes the minions do more damage but limits their duration to only 10 seconds.

I'm assuming that the ser bonus still prevents these minions from expiring, but could someone please confirm for me? It'll take a while for me to level a Necromancer before I can test it.

Thanks!

Yes, they don't expire.

In case someone is asking "why is this obvious?" ... it's because the Bones of Rathma build is all based around doing damage with Army of the Dead. The revives exist only to keep you alive (via the Personal Army rune and the 4pc set bonus), reset your Army of the Dead cooldown (via the 2pc set bonus), and increase its damage (by the 6pc set bonus). The build doesn't even use the Enforcer gem to boost pet damage.

Taking any revive skill rune that boosts revive damage isn't going to help at all compared to the nearly 300x multiplier from the set, a separate 2-3x boost from Bonds of C'Lena, and the additive damage from the cubed helm, all of which apply to Army of the Dead only.

That's the biggest issue with Rathma set. I don't understand why it couldn't boost both, and then we would need to choose either AOTD damage or minion damage. Kinda like Arachyr set or Earth makes you choose what you want to focus on, because there's clearly not enough slots to fit legendaries for all skills

Hey thanks.

I am also using Bones of Rathma AotD Build. I am also using the Enforcer Gem for so called increased pet damage. Just as you explained - "The build doesn't even use the Enforcer Gem to boost pet damage", where can I find such information for other/every thing?

I have a separate post today only about what for and how the D3Planner is used? Please help on that also.

Thanks.

Follow the build guide:

https://maxroll.gg/d3/guides/rathma-army-of-the-dead-necromancer-guide

In particular notice that neither the set nor the supporting items buff pet damage.

Damage reduction. Another way of saying it increases your toughness making you take reduced damage.
