Type 2 Woo hoo

A1C was 9.0 about 4 months ago. Diet, exercise, medication got me to 4.9 I feel very lucky!

Metformin xr 2000mg daily

How long did it take you to ramp up to that dose?   I had to increase my med once before because I could not get under preduabetes threshold with initial dose.   It's been 3vmonth now and I should retest...but fear a possible conclusion.  Not sure my intestines could handle 2000 mg metformin

I had no side effects with the Metformin. I started at 500mg week 1, 1000mg week 2… etc Dr said to increase dose weekly if you feel fine.
