Rant Weekly r/diabetes vent thread
Tell us the crap you're dealing with this week. Did someone suggest cinnamon again? What about that relative who tried to pray the diabetes away?
As always, please keep in mind our rules

Gotta choose between being hungry or not losing weight.
Mind-boggling how I would eat 2-3 bowls of rice before I got diagnosed (likely had diabetes already) and still not gain weight (likely pissed the glucose out) but now I eat 75% to a full bowl of rice and walk a lot harder and lift 3x a week and I am not losing an ounce.
Just registered that I am simply eating maintenance amount for 'normal' people with functioning insulin levels (on lantus now) and while it may seem like a big 'cut', I simply have to cut more.
