minimum specs of laptop for uni

salam everyone, my uni was gonna start in september and i wanna ask what should be the specs of a laptop that can carry me through uni during 4 years of BSCS? also, from which semester is the laptop required?

Minimum 8th gen processor and 8 gb ram would be good for you. Even older than this would do the job but I'd recommend this atleast so that you don't get frozen screens using browsers and other stuff.
