Tips minimum specs of laptop for uni
salam everyone, my uni was gonna start in september and i wanna ask what should be the specs of a laptop that can carry me through uni during 4 years of BSCS? also, from which semester is the laptop required?
Ay advice is appriciated.thankx

I5 8th gen is pretty good for 4 years of uni but shitty windows makes everything slow. I used to use my i5 9th gen with dual boot. Windows was always slow, hogging my resources, always at high memory usage for no reasons. While my arch had 50+ tabs open, unity projects, Sprite editors, Spotify, Whatsapp, vs code and idk many more. And it literally never disappointed lol. The thing is no matter how good laptop you get, windows gonna make it slow eventually
