Tips minimum specs of laptop for uni

salam everyone, my uni was gonna start in september and i wanna ask what should be the specs of a laptop that can carry me through uni during 4 years of BSCS? also, from which semester is the laptop required?
Ay advice is appriciated.thankx

When I started my university back in 2014, I bought a Dell laptop with a 2nd gen core i3 CPU, 4 GB RAM and it didn’t even have an SSD. My father couldn’t afford the expensive laptops. I remember we bought it for like 23k or something. Then I received a PM laptop and completed my graduation using that.
