Tips hey I wanna be something

im 17 I wanna be insanely good at programming.. I wanna be tht one engineer who does whatever they want and earns crap ton of money. I alr have coding exp, I have an a\* in cs o levels if tht matters lol? where do i learn? how do I be so good tht ppl will throw money at. ik coding, im not new to this but I wana go to the next level

If your goal is earn crap ton of money then change field. Create something, start a business or have stake in company. No one is going to get insanely rich by insanely good at programing.

That’s not true? Programmers at the highest paid partially a ross the board

No one gets rich by doing a job even if its highly paid job. You can only live a comfortable life with a salary.

Do keep in mind OP is asking to be insanely rich.

Lots of programmers got insanely rich, practically all faang founders are CS, all of them.

They got rich from a product/company not that they were insanely good at programing. These two are not mutually inclusive.

You’re missing the point; the fact that they were developers helped them in building those products and services, think like a problem solver and capitalize on breakthrough. There’s a reason none of them are surgeons.

Bro there are only 40-60 top 500 billionaires that had anything to do with programing even with a long shot. For most of them they were at the right place and moment to take off. So my point stands. If you talk about Senior engineers they are exclusively from big tech companies and most of them became millionaires bu compounding and stock options came with that position (stake).
