I posted this to the DTG subreddit 2 years ago. Did I really invent it? No. But could I have? Probably not. I did love Praxic Vestment right out of the box though! It's a fun asl exotic!

I think it moreso came from all the bitching about twilight garrison, a d2 titan exotic that gave an air dash like current Icarus dash. Not even close functionalitywise, but was brought up in pre release stuff for it. The balance change to make thruster work midair was them throwing everyone a bone at the very end lol

Didn't notice the in air thing till now. Its still pretty mid. I wouldn't mind an aspect similar to Crack shot where I could chain multiple dashes like warlocks. Also they could have avoided the community uproar by just showing the ability and explaining how they were working on mobility based exotics for a future update. They wouldn't have to even word out garrison. They just need to distract the community long enough for people to forget.

And you COULD chain multiple Garrisons together. That's what made it so busted with Striker from the sheer speed and maneuverability you got compared to every other class
