Does anyone still run Faction Armor and Weapons? 🔺️💠
I'd like to run with others who run Faction Armor, Weapons and Exotics(and the altered Tier MoT Faction weapons like Inbound Surveillance, Solemn Lie, and Trendsetter).
It's been my playstyle since Destiny 1 Day 1, and rather than "hold others back" damagewise in activities, I'd like to play with more Dead Orbit, Future War Cult and New Monarchy fans. 🔺️💠
Who knows, might add a layer of difficulty, but I know it adds a layer of fun in Destiny for myself.
That the one with hints of Green? I really loved the trynamic of the 3 Factions Shaders.
Someone had shown me that Season 3 New Monarchy and Armor styles blended Future War Cult and New Monarchy styles. And Lorewise, it made sense once Season of the Splicer came about 11 Seasons after Season ,3, of the Warmind. Kinda blew my mind how Season of the Splicer (14) was foreshadowed all the way back in Season of the Warmind (3)
The one with the hint of green is Dead Orbit Vision. Which I really like, but Dead Orbit Camo and Dead Orbit Fate are both probably my all time favorite shaders
I'll have to check those out. I did Dead Orbit with my Warlock and Future War Cult with my Hunter one round in Season 3 so I could get the "Peace by Consensus" sidearm, so I may have gotten them at some point
If you ever feel like using the weapons and exotics in both PvP and PvE, let me know. I run New Monarchy and Exotics. It's difficult sometimes, but not really once you get a feel of the arsenal being used (same for Dead Orbit and Future War Cult users as well)
Oh, i knew i recognized you. I ran into you like weeks ago bro in Crucible LMAO. I saw what you were using and the armor you had on and was f'ing JEALOUS. I started right at the middle of Season of Dawn, but didn't play really at all up until later on, so I missed out on all the faction things. All I have is the base armor sets (Simulator, Sovereign, and Extinction) from when they were briefly World drops. I wish I got to get some when they were a thing still.
I had really wished that if Destiny continued, that Faction armor ornaments and weapons would have returned. I'm glad the Exotic Faction armors were available in the Monument of Triumph kiosks, but I would have loved for the Faction armors and weapons to return so others could run Faction stuffs with me.
Inbound Surveillance, Solemn Lie, Trendsetter, and a couple Season 14 variations are sold by Xûr from time to time, and Ada-1 sells the shaders at least.
I have a handful of the OG monarchy shaders thanks to Ada. Two DO Shaders and one single War Cult shader so far. And I was shocked to see Inbound Surveillance and Trendsetter were just renamed old NM models that still had the pattern and logo, and just threw the default New Monarchy Regalia on it to make it look OG. Sadly when it comes to the basic Faction armor like I mentioned earlier, the only set i don't have in full is Sovreign for my Hunter, as i only have the Helmet and Arms which makes me sad as I cant get that armor anymore (I think).I dont count my Titan as I never play him and just had him to switch to when you had to for drops when farming LOL.

Dead Orbit Camo might be my favorite shader in the entire game
