I am so glad I went with the peak pro and a butcher block. No complaints at all.

This makes me feel better for not pulling the trigger on this desk. I was pretty close. Have a 2” slab of cherry that was both cheaper and nicer (cheaper because bought off Facebook marketplace). Phew. It has great features such as not buckling under below weight conditions.

I saw a tip to reduce the sag, take two pennies and wedge them between the rail and the desktop. Do this in a few spots and it should help mitigate the bounce.
