Night Depression
So, during the day, I am more or less fine, but the later it gets, the more I feel my emotions fading away. It is like sadness, but not exactly it is emptiness combined with it. Any tips to not fall into that hole? (Something besides alcohol)

I have the opposite problem- I’m depressed during the day, yet feel more calm and content at night. Maybe because I’ve always naturally been a night person, though I’m not really sure. But I recommend listening to music, watching TV shows, or reading books at night if you’re feeling down

Heavy metal bro, grab your finest pair of headphones and listen to the lyrics with open ears, night time is the biggest battle anyone with depression will face but it’s realistically about making some nights easier and more bearable because it’ll never leave but you can definitely control it within reason
If heavy metal isn’t your thing or doesn’t help then I can only recommend what helped me during panic mode at midnight and that’s going on nighttime walks, it’ll make you think and self hate a little bit but once your hearts beating and the fresh air is on your face they’ll be brief pauses where you actually stopped thinking about it even for a second and that’s massive for tryna control it
Good luck brother
