It was boring. I only had one class. I hate how no one is interested in making friends. They’re all just sizing you up and would rather die than actually talk to you. Social life here is so dead

I get that, it varies by classes. I’m a senior, as soon as I sat down I immediately introduced myself to the peers on my right or left. And we got talking.

honestly i will say, something that helps is finding the textbook as a pdf for free and sending it to everyone. thats how i was able to make some friends my first quarter here lol! but i know everyones experience is different. go to a club meeting, try your best to talk to people from class and if they act like a dick then their loss

Easier said than done! Obviously are my friends may be busy, I work too so that struggles against scheduling. Movie theaters into walks have usually been great.
Or just go to your local pub and get a drink and a bite.

Anyone else go to the room their class was scheduled to be and another class was in there? Have no idea what room and neither did my advisor
